I highly recommend Dr. Ferguson. If you are experiencing an orthopedic issue or other issue covered by his practice, you get the services of a scientist and medical practitioner rolled into one. He patiently solved an issue with pain in my back and leg that had not improved for months. A dozen people suggested that it was sciatica. It wasnt. Dr. Ferguson figured it out. And then gave me the proper treatment to address the issues. Some of the many, many things that impressed me during my course of treatment: 1. He spent well over an hour testing me during the initial visit to triangulate the issue. By the time he was finished, it was clear that my symptoms fit into the "OTHER" category. That is: no test currently available definitively diagnoses the issue. But he put a plan in place based on what he thought it was likely to be. That plan immediately lowered my pain threshold by 30% within a week. 2. He worked collaboratively with his partner, Dr. Ryan. On the second visit, he devoted half the visit to watching me walk and did some tests as to how my feet hit the ground. Then brought out Dr. Ryan so they both could evaluate my gait. They came to the conclusion that one leg was slightly shorter than the other. Dr. Ferguson cut out a shoe insert for me. When I got home, my wife took one look at me and asked: "Why are your shoulders aligned? Whats going on?" Ive had back problems for 10 years and no one has ever examined this issue. And the fix is so inexpensive and easy. I attribute this adjustment to taking away another 20% of my pain. 3. We then hit a threshold. The pain was better, I wasnt limping around nearly as much. But a couple weeks went by with little improvement. He asked me to come to a teaching seminar he was organzing. Dr. Ferguson flies in master practitioners from around the world to teach people in his various fields. He suggested that if I were willing to act as a sample case for the other students, it might be a valuable way to get an additional point of view. I spent an hour at this seminar. Sure enough, the woman teaching the course who examined me identified an alternative way of looking at my symptoms. Dr. Ferguson starting giving me a combination of traction and acupuncture. My pain level dropped the next 40%. 4. I was down to the last 10%. I had only a minor pain in my lower leg remaining. It was so minor that for hours I wouldnt even notice it. I told Dr. Ferguson that if I had to live with this for the rest of my life, I could certainly handle it, but felt it would probably require me to stop running (my main form of exercise for some years). Dr. Ferguson wasnt done, however. He asked me to allow him to do a new evaluation, taking me through most of the original tests. Finally, he prescribed a new exercise called "nerve flossing." Within 48 hours I was totally symptom free and have stayed that way. 5. The entire time he treated me, he was focused on giving me stretches and exercises that would strengthen my core and keep me limber in a way that would prevent my problem from recurring. Dr. Fergusons approach is the definition of holistic medicine: he draws from multiple disciplines (which is to say that he has many tools in his toolbox); he is a consummate student (he made adjustments to my stretching regimin based on research that had just been published, and hosts more than a dozen teaching symposia a year with the masters in the fields in which he practices); he will continually refine his diagnosis based on new circumstances; and most impressively, he is not so arrogant to believe that he is the only one who can help solve his patients problems. He surrounds himself with other very smart doctors and practitioners (both western and eastern oriented) who help him evaluate his patients and provide advice. At the end of March, when my pain had not subdued for months, I thought this was going to be the first year that I would not be able to run in the annual 5K Race Against Hate with my family held at the start of each summer. Thanks to Dr. Ferguson, I did.

I’m so impressed with Dr. Fergus and Cornerstone Health! I’ve been to a few chiropractors in the past and while I’ve felt in line and on board with the philosophy of chiropractic – that the body can heal itself – I always felt a little turned off by the 10-minute, quick in and out approach to the care I received. Dr. Fergus is NOT like this at all! He takes his time with the assessment, which he does himself, and it feels very complete and thorough. I did not feel rushed, or like I had to quickly hurry up and download my information so he could move on to the next patient. Also, during each subsequent session, he applies the same care, thoughtfulness, and thoroughness to what is currently going on. He takes his time to explain his assessment as well as his approach. And I feel like I am being offered a treatment plan that has been created specifically for me and my issues. Each session is different – because each time I go in, my body is different and needs something new. And this is so refreshing and so different from the assembly-line feel I’ve encountered with other chiropractors I’ve attended in the past. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Fergus!

*reviewing as a person with an above level of physical activity who lifts heavy weights and does sprint protocols I came into cornerstone health looking for ART work on my hip. Instead of simply treating my issue, Dr. Fergus and Dr. Wasilewski dug deeper to find the underlying problem as to why my hip hurt. This led to exposing a back issue that I had, treating the back issue, and moving forward in a systematic manner to address other areas causing me problems including my right hip and left ankle. I have performed or had done back adjustments, soft tissue manipulation, dry needling, DNS protocols, and physical therapy type exercises. The setting is very low-key and the space is intimate and personal. I like also that both Dr. Fergus and Dr. Wasilewski will assist each other to get two minds looking at a problem or issue to find multiple solutions. As someone who has experience in the field and going to other places, this is a top notch facility to find treatment and solution to a physical problem.

Awesome experience; great team; clean facility; little to no wait time for scheduling and during appointments! Began treatment with Dr. Fergus 7 months into my pregnancy for debilitating sciatica. At the beginning of my treatment I could barely walk. Upon entering Dr. Ferguss facility, I had to lay down because the pain and weakness was so unbearable, sitting was not an option. Two weeks later, I was sitting and walking with minimal discomfort. Through a series of sessions including exercise techniques, acupuncture and massage (also great!) I am very close to a full recovery. Dr. Fergus has also seen other members of my family including a brief assessment of my now 2 month old child, all with successful outcomes. I would and have recommended anyone to Dr. Fergus and his team for,at the very least, an assessment.

Cornerstone is a cut above any other clinic Ive been to...period. I knew I was in good hands right away when I started receiving therapy from Dr. Ryan, because his approach is very insightful and tailored to my specific needs. I cannot stress the importance of this enough! The therapists here also have a wider perspective than most physical therapists and chiropractors I have interacted with. I am getting stronger and better thanks to him, and Dr. Andrew who are both invested in my well-being. They are helping me come out of a very difficult and confronting physical issue, and I am very thankful and grateful I found them. I give this clinic the highest recommendation possible.
