As a divorcing parent, I engaged Gail to provide insight and guidance to me regarding my own children who are living through a tumultuous time. Unfortunately for my children, my co-parent and I cannot seem to agree on just about anything, and of course the cliche that "it is the children who suffer the most" is absolutely true in a very high conflict divorce scenario. The advice she has given me over the past six months has been invaluable to me. At the most basic level, she been an excellent sounding board for my thoughts. But what has made her so valuable to me is that has proven to be an excellent predictor of the struggles that [had then] lain ahead for my kids, and more importantly provided concrete plans as to how to best protect them from psychological harm in such an acrimonious co-parenting situation. While the level of animosity in my case seems abnormally high, I believe that it is nevertheless very typical that divorcing/divorced co-parents have genuine differences of opinion as to what constitutes the "best interests" of the children. I believe it is common that while each co-parent pursues what he or she genuinely believe to be the "right" thing to do vis-a-vis their children, that ironically those co-parents inadvertently work at cross-purposes, leaving their children in the middle of chaos and confusion despite each parents attempts to provide peace and certainty. It is precisely this situation where I believe Gail to be worth her weight in gold. Yes, at times her advice may not be what I want to hear - we all want to hear as parents that we are pursing the best course of action with respect to our children. But what really matters when childrens well-being is at stake is not an affirmation of our own thoughts or wishes; what really matters is the "best" answer. I have found Gail to be a no-nonsense counselor who will speak up even when it may conflict with my own thoughts and always with a logical rationale based on considerable experience. Our sessions are not always fun. I may leave her office disappointed when she doesnt agree with my thoughts. But, I always leave with an honest and objective perspective, of things that I should be thinking about as a parent. I highly recommend Gail to any parent regardless of his or her family situation, anywhere from happy-nuclear to unhappy-broken. She has helped me a great deal as I navigate what has been uncharted waters to me and my children. Sincerely, An Appreciative Parent

Dr. Grossman has been an invaluable asset during a very tumultuous divorce. She has helped teach me the tools necessary to parallel parent with a difficult ex. I like her approach...she simply tells it like it is. I have to assume that is why there are some negative reviews as it is sometimes hard to hear (and admit) what YOU need to do to move forward. I couldnt have gotten this far without her and I appreciate her vast knowledge and direct approach very much. I would recommend Dr. Grossman without hesitation if you are going through a difficult divorce with children involved. Just go in with an open mind and remember that she is here to help you and your children move on to lead healthy and productive lives. She is not here to be your friend and she is going tell you exactly what she sees/thinks without sugar coating it. I find that tremendously refreshing and helpful. Thank you Dr. Grossman.

WE WERE FORCED INTO A FAMILY EVALUATION AS A PART OF THE DIVORCE PROCESS AND THE COURT REPS CHOSE DR.(?) GAIL GROSSMAN TO DO THE JOB. WE WERE ALSO FORCED TO PAY $8000.00 TO GROSSMAN WHICH WE COULD NOT AFFORD. GAIL GROSSMAN WAS TO HAVE COMPLETED THE EVALUATION WITHIN A TIME FRAME OF BETWEEN 6-8 WEEKS, BUT SHE DID NOT PRESENT IT TO THE COURT AND IT TOOK HER 1.5 YEARS TO DO IT. ( THATS RIGHT 18 MONTHS ALMOST 17 MONTHS LONGER THAT THE COURT HAD ORDERED. WHEN SHE DID TURN IT HER EVALUATION, IT WAS AS IF SHE HAD BEEN EVALUATING ANOTHER FAMILY, NOT OURS, MAJOR FACTS WERE INCORRECT AND SHE SEEMED CLUELESS ABOUT WHY SHE CAME UP WITH FALSE INFORMATION. SHE HAS TO BE ONE OF THE WORST PSYCHOLOGISTS OUT THERE AND SHE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO EVER DO ANOTHER COURT EVALUATION AND EVEN HAVE HER LICENSE REVOKED.

Dr. Grossman has helped me in ways that Im still just learning to understand. Even ten years after I stopped seeing her she was there for me at a time when I needed guidance. Interacting with her as a child was always super low stress and easy too.
