I have had a very difficult time going to the dentist. The reason is, I have ALWAYS wanted nice teeth but I was not born with a good, strong set of teeth. Everytime I go to the dentist I would be so excited that maybe they could help me but I would be disappointed because some dentist would not care about fixing all my teeth. Just the tooth I came in fir would be discussed. Other dentists I felt like I could cry when I left because my hope for nice teeth could never happen. I just could not afford their options. Today was such a good day. From the moment I walked in the office I felt very at ease and very welcome. The ladies at the front desk are EXCELLENT! Dr. Dan Jr. was wonderful!!! He did not shame me. I really felt he was the first dentist who really believed I wanted nice teeth so he took his time and explained to me the options he could do for me. He had xrays taken of my entire mouth and he fixed the tooth that was bothering me which my previous dentist did not even take the time to color match the filling on a front tooth. What I also liked is it was a very nice office but, it did not have tvs in everyroom, with unique coffee makers and new buildings which have to add to the patients bill somehow. This is a very, very nice DENTAL OFFICE and everyone there is wonderful but without all the bells and whistles I really feel I am paying only for my dental care not for extra things that I feel would make my bill a bit larger. If you are looking for a really awesome dentist with a really awesome personnel and people who sincerely care, you need to try Streitz Dental Arts. I was very pleased and thankful for the outstanding experience I had there today. It gave this mama hope for nice teeth again!

I never thought losing a piece of old filling from a tooth ( or I should say half-a-tooth at best ) would actually turn out to be a blessing in disguise . After staying away from dentists for more years than I care to admit , I knew I had to do something after the Christmas caramel stuck-in-the filling -pulling the previous mentioned piece of filling out incident . I went to Google (as I always do ) and asked for Top Rated Dentists in Joliet . I knew if I had to go to a dentist after all those years , I did not want to go somewhere cold and overly clinical . I saw that Streitz Dental Arts had a five star rating and good reviews . After reading about the doctors in this family practice I decided to call for an appointment .( I am very appreciative of how soon I was able to get in to see a doctor . THANKS Royann for that .) Streitz Dental Arts is very warm and welcoming . The waiting room is so cozy that I felt more like I was in someones house rather than a medical building . They have all the lastest technology to care for your dental needs . The fore mentioned tooth was worse than I thought and had to be removed . Im still amazed how Dr. Dan Jr. got it out and had it still intact ! Dr. Dan Jr. and Sam are a Great Team . I went back 8 days later for a filling in a cracked tooth that I was unaware of . I realize now at my age , I was always leery of dentists because I was going to the wrong ones . NOT ANY MORE . Ill see you in 6 months Dr. Dan Jr. and Sam . If youre looking for quality care by friendly , professionals than Streitz Dental Arts is where you should go .

I started at the Streitz office in Plainfield about 14 years ago, and had not been to the dentist in years. I have had dental problems since birth and had experienced some bad dentists in the past. I had a lot of anxiety going back. They were kind, gentle, and it was the best experience i had ever had. Dr.Dan had to put permanent bridges on my bottom teeth. Because of lack of dental insurance and other health problems i stopped going to the dentist for about another 11 years. I went back and it was like i had never stopped going. They welcomed me with open arms. All they cared about was my health. In that gap of time, the original bridges were in great shape and i only had one cavity, which Dr. Dans son filled. I also needed a new upper denture. He suggested implants, but i could not afford them at the time, so he made me the denture. It is the best denture i have ever had. I can even bite into an apple, which might not sound like a big deal, but it is. I recently was diagnosed with cancer, and i was given the best advice to keep my teeth healthy through this treatment. There will never be a gap in dental treatment in my life if i can help it, and i will never go to any other dentist. I suggest you do the same and recommend them highly. They have changed my life. Oh, their staff is kind and great too. Thanks again Steitz family. You are the best!!

I have been to numerous dentist over the last few years and everyone of them wanted to pull all my teeth n leave me with dentures at 40 years old. I had 11 teeth pulled about 2 years ago and having a horrible experience with the bottom. I Google Streitz dental and made an appt to see doctor Dan junior. Together we formed a plan on how to save my remaining teeth. I now can see a light at the end of the tunnel, that I will be able to smile with complete confidence and soon to be able to bite into food instead of cutting it up like a child. Its going to be a long process but I have complete faith in Streitz Dental Arts. They are the must amazing dental facility I have ever come across. I would recommend them to anyone. Laurie Smierciak

I was traveling to work in Joilet this morning from Indiana and was in excruciating pain. I did a search of dentists from my phone, and thankfully found Streitz Dental! Called as I was driving into Joilet and Cathy took my call. After explaining to her how I was feeling, and how miserable I felt, she made every effort to get me into the practice this afternoon. When I got there, she warmly welcomed me into the office and had me fill out paperwork. In minutes I had X-rays taken by Jessica (thanks for your patience!) and was given a thorough consultation by Dr. Dan. I left with full assurance I made a good decision calling their practice and I will definitely be back with my follow up cleaning and things recommended. Thank you!

Going to this dentist is pleasurable. Dr. Dan Streitz Sr. is a very nice guy with a great sense of humor who is also a consummate professional. Hes totally up to speed on all latest developments in dentistry. Hes a believer in dental minimalism (my term): he recommends procedures only if they are absolutely necessary, He prefers to wait rather than immediately to recommend something that would inevitably be expensive. Ive been seen by this dentist for 20 years and I have complete confidence in him and in his staff. I am also seen by his hygienist Peggy who is equally professional and pleasant. I could not ask for more!
