I had an absolutely awful experience here. Lets begin with trying to schedule the appointment. I rescued my puppy and this is one of the vets that the rescue works with so we were going to bring our dog here to get his rabies shot and to be neutered. I called to make an appointment, and the woman on the phone was upset that I was trying to schedule an appointment when she was busy. Last I checked a large part of your job is assisting customers.. she proceeded to hang up on me. I gave her about 10 minutes and then called back and told her I would hold until I had time for her to make an appointment for me. After 17 minutes of holding an appointment was made. Fast forward to appointment day. The only time they had that was available for people who work and cant take the day off was at 5PM. My fiance was able to leave work early to go get our dog and get him to the appointment. I was able to arrive about 10 minutes later while they were a few minutes early for the appointment. We then stood in the lobby while 1 woman talked to another woman who was picking up her dogs. After about 25 minutes our puppy began to whine. She then spoke to us and said she would get us into a waiting room. After 25 more minutes we finally walked out. A doctor never came in. When we left a nurse was standing behind the counter and said goodbye to us. As we exited the nurse who ignored us except for the brief moment she put us in a room was outside making a personal call. As we walked away she exclaimed "Your leaving?! All I could say to that is that we had plans to be somewhere at 6:30 and it is now 6. We had arrived there before 5 and by 6 no one had come to help us. A rabies shot should never have taken that long. Our small window of time that we have to get everything we cannot get done during a working day was wasted at an establishment that didnt even have the courtesy to talk to us and explain what was taking so long. We were customers, customers that you ignored and treated badly and we will never be back. We scheduled the rabies shot and neutering at Companion Care in Vernon Hills and they were fantastic.

I disagree with the "one star" lady below me. Dr. Donna may take a bit longer to treat your animal because she is the vet who owns her own business. She is willing to try holistic measures and give discounts for those in need when she can. I would rather have the same vet each time and wait a little longer than not know who will see my dog. Dr. Donna is companionate, caring and realistic. She is willing to build a treatment plan as opposed to giving you an itemized list that makes you feel guilty if you cant afford "top tier" interventions.

Dr. Donna was wonderful! She was loving with my nippy Chihuahua, she explained everything, regarding her health, with clarity and patience. For years Ive had trouble finding a good vet, I am very happy Ive finally found the right vet for cinnamon
