First, I will tell you Im extremely picky about vets as I had a really terrible experience at a different vet, so I may be more critical as my pets health is important to me. So far everything has been going well, they are friendly and knowledgeable. They speak in manner so that you can understand options and conditions. If you ask, they can recommend one of their vets that may have a deeper knowledge about skin conditions/etc. Weve met a few of the vets and they have been down to earth, not pushy to run lots of tests. The front desk is quick (5× faster than the last place). The only strange thing is we did order a normal blood test and paid for 2 additional values to be tested. It only came back with 1 of the 2 results and when I emailed and asked, I didnt really get a response as to why. I havent had a chance to follow-up again yet. Most vets Ive been to have been up front about costs before running them and Im surprised they have not proactively done this. They will if you remember to ask. They are slightly more expensive (maybe 5% more than previous places), so not bad.

The level of professionalism and dedication at Lincolnshire AH is outstanding. Weve been going here for several years for routine care, but our Golden Retriever recently needed surgery. Dr Emmelot listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions and explained what was wrong and the needed tests and procedure very thoroughly. He followed up himself, calling to check on her. The staff is outstanding - personable, warm and knowledgable. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

Finally, I found a Veterinary Practice that I can trust with our little Yorkshire Terrier. The Front Desk and Dr. Emmelot immediately made me feel at ease. Im glad I didnt give up looking for the right place for Harrison.
