BEWARE... PLEASE consider using another vets office. The office staff has Always been rude every time I call or have an appointment. I recently boarded my dog here while I was away on vacation. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was very rude. When I went to drop my dog off I ask the receptionist, a different lady than the one who took my call by the way, can I see the area where my dog will be boarded and was very rudely told NO I could not. Then she yells we got a boarder and this guy came out and said "Oh no!". That did not give me a peace of mind to leave my dog with these people. I called to check on her, as she did experience very bad separation anxiety. Every time I called they said she was fine and was eating. My mom went to visit her while I was away to check on her. Then on Sunday morning, we received a phone call informing me that my dog had passed away in the night and they had no clue why. I waited for a return call for over 2 hours and had to call them back again to make arrangements to pick up my dogs body. When I arrived at the office I told the receptionist, which was neither of the 2 rude ladies before, that I was here to pick up my dogs body. She ignored me and continued to clean the desk then finally goes over to get the file and proceeds to tell me that I owe them $150. I immediately ask for all medical records for both of my pets. I was told it would take an hour and a half before the records would be ready. There were about 15 pages of records to be copied. There was only 2 customers other than myself in the building. I spoke with Dr Sachs and explained my concerns about the rudeness that I have experienced for years from the front desk staff. His reply was" well you will have to Dr. Taylor about that because he is the owner and he is out of town." I ask him if he could relay the message to Dr. Taylor and his response was, "It wont do any good". I then ask him directly if they had any other complaints on the customer service from the front desk staff and he said yes on ALL 3 staff members. And that people have complained for years." I wish I would have thought to ask him why he, as a vet, would choose to be employed at an establishment that would not have concern about their customers experience. Not one time did I hear we are sorry for your loss or receive any empathy or sympathy from Dr Sachs or anyone in that office. I will say my dog did see Dr Cynthia Myers for heart worm treatment years ago, and she is very good with the animals and people. If you love your pet and want the best for them and yourself, please consider spending the extra $ for them to receive the appropriate care and love that both the patient and paying customer need. RIP KAYA, you will never be forgotten!

This is a terrible place, Im not sure how they managed any good reviews other than sheer luck. I do notice, however that at least one of the negative reviews, about terrible staf,f that was here is now missing, if not more... In short, you get what you pay for. I had my first experience with this place when my seven year old cat became lethargic and stopped eating. I brought him here because I knew the other vet in town charged more. The wait was very short. The nurse like lady that first looked at him seemed to be nice enough and seemed to care, asked a few questions and took his temperature. The vet was a different story, he came in, glanced at my cat, opened his mouth a little, said the the other lady had found he had a temperature, and so he must have some sort of internal infection, prescribed some anti-biotics, and assured me hed be fine and if he wasnt to bring him back Monday. My cat died Sunday evening. Anyone can make a wrong diagnosis, so fair enough. I didnt go back again for a while, but at the beginning of this summer I needed some flea medication for my dog. We have a terrible tick problem here so I like to use the Advantix, a friend of mine had bought it regularly there a year or two back and it was the only place around I knew of that carried it, so I returned. When I went in and asked the young dark haired lady behind the counter for it, she snapped at me saying that they didnt carry it and theyd never carried it, after I corrected her she admitted that they had in the past but no more. Thats fine as well, but she could have just said that instead of biting my head off. This is a bargain vet I suppose, they charge less, Im assuming because they know they couldnt get away with charging more, this is the only reason I know of that anyone goes there. They have a bad reputation in the community, and for a good reason. Recently Ive been hearing more and more horror stories about this place. If your pet is sick, please take them down the road. If youre looking for simple things like allergy shots, or non Advantix flea medication, this is a decent way to save a few bucks.

This place only gets one star because it wont let me give it zero. Dr. Taylor is a terrible veterinarian. Last year we had to take my basset hound in when we noticed her stomach was swollen and she seemed really sick, Dr. Taylor took some blood and said he didnt see anything wrong with her, so he charged us $200 and sent her home. She got worse, her stomach looked like it was going to explode and she would hardly move so we took her back and were told we should put her down and then he looked at the charts that came back and said he knew what was wrong, the same charts he had a few days ago when he sent her home, he did surgery for nearly $600 after letting her suffer for days and letting us think she was going to die. This last week my moms kitten got sick and this was the only place open at the time so she took her in. He gave her antibiotics, they didnt do anything but make her worse. He said if she wasnt better in two days to call and she did. When she called and explained who she was and the situation the receptionist said he was gone for the day. My mom went in anyway to see any vet who could help and guess whos working? Dr. Taylor. He looked at the kitten, and just said, "Oh, yeah, she needs to go. We need to put her down." Today my moms landlord told her what her experience was with Dr. Taylor: Her old dogs throat somehow ended up getting cut and they took him to the vet. Dr. Taylor stitched him up very quickly and sent him home right away and told them to just do therapy with him. Nothing else, just therapy, and he died. Her and her husband went in and complained because he didnt do anything else to help and they just gave them a refund. I dont recommend this place to anyone. They dont care about your animals, they just want money.
