I have visited 24 hour Advanced Urgent Care when I couldnt go to sleep and feeling itchy about 1:20am in the morning. Once I got there, I was admitted to the exam room right away. It turned out that I had some kind of allergic reaction that was spreading all over my body very fast. The attending doctor and staff administered medication via shot and IV. They monitored my condition, pulse, IV treatment, temperature and vital signs while I slept on the exam bed. I woke up after about an hour, and like nothing had happened. All the redness and rash over my body disappeared. The doctor felt confident that I could go home with some prescribed medication. The prescription was faxed over to a close by Walgreen opening 24hrs. I picked up the med and went home to continue my sleep. My condition could have been very critical especially when started to feel tightness in the throat. If I was at the hospital ER, I could have been waiting for hours to see someone. Even if I was brought into the exam, they would have held me for many hours. Not to mention the cost of ER treatment and the bills that will come after. I am very pleased with Advanced Urgent Care treatment and care starting with the front desk to the physician assistant to the doctor herself. I highly recommend them for your healthcare needs. They are not just an Urgent Care Center; they also have primary and specialty physicians.

I have been a patient of Doctor Alzeins for over 5 years now. During that time he had recommended I get a sleep study performed as one of my primary and ongoing complaints was that I was always tired. Recently I ended up hospitalized for an irregular heartbeat, one of the very things sleep apnea causes when left untreated. I was also complaining of memory issues which recently had become more than just a nuisance. I had the sleep study performed and learned just how severe my sleep apnea is. I was literally choking in my sleep and struggling for air as I slept, even though I did not know that was happening. This caused my heart rate to elevate and increased my blood pressure while sleeping. I received my CPAP machine two weeks ago and was instructed how to use it. The first night on the CPAP machine I was able to fall asleep pretty quickly. In the morning I saw on the machine that I slept for just over seven and a half hours. Remarkably, my wife also slept through the night and wasnt awakened once by any snoring as I snore very loudly. By the weekend, my wife had to wake me up to go to church on Sunday morning as Id slept over nine hours that night. Im so glad Dr Alzein kept on me to get the sleep study done. I now sleep through the night and feel much better. I no longer fall asleep during the day and have a lot more energy. I also eat less and am losing weight.

I went here this last sunday with my boyfriend. The doctor looked at his rash, called it sunburn(It was clearly NOT sunburn, because it was bumpy and itchy) and proceeded to focus on the sore throat that he mentioned, even though he no longer had it. My boyfriend cant do throat swabs, so he asked if maybe they could test his blood instead. The doctor had to go ask someone. There was a miscommunication with the staff, they thought that they were going to do a throat swab, and insisted that they try. The same guy messed up my ear when trying to clean out wax, my ear started bleeding, and hurt even worse. I had to go to a different place and get my ear cleaned out. I got antibiotics for my ear because they actually tore up my ear canal. They also messed up my boyfriends blood results. THEY DIDNT EVEN TEST FOR STREP. The guy that called us had no idea that they were supposed to check for strep. Now he has a bill for getting a little bottle of pills, and has no idea what he even has. My ear still hurts, and I am telling everyone never to go here.

I could have not asked for anything better. On a Sunday I had an awful sore throat and I looked up an Urgent Care option near my house. I called and the person that answered the phone was beyond helpful and nice, told me that it should not take more than 10-15 minutes to get in. When I got there, the place was super clean, well lit, with a nice yet very practical decor. The receptionist was efficient and friendly, and I was finally seen by the nurse in less than 10 mins after I arrived. The nurse did a comprehensive clinical history, asked all the right questions and was extremely warm and well disposed. In less than 5 minuets I was seen by the doctor. He was professional, courteous and had great bedside manners. He suggested a test for Strep, which turned out positive. They faxed the prescription to my pharmacy. It all took less than 30 minutes. It was the best experience possible considering that no visits to doctors are that fun. I would recommend Fast Care with my eyes closed and I will go next time without any hesitation....

What can I say about Advanced Urgent Care...well, a year ago, I was quite sick with a virus. I was a hard head about seeing my doctor and thought it just needed to take its course. Several months later, I could feel my heart racing and bearing hard, my voice was all but gone from coughing. My son wanted to call an ambulance, but we opted to drive to PCH. We drove bear AUC and I told my son to pull in. They took me immediately and joined me up to the EKG. Fortunately, no heart attack, but they got to the root cause of my issue. Since then, they have been handling my asthma and Ive seen so much improvement. More importantly, the level of care that everyone has shown me has been exemplary. I cannot recommend AUC enough to my friends and family. The facility is beautiful and calming..not sterile and intimidating. You will have made the right choice when choosing Advanced Urgent Care for your important health needs.

Dr. Alzein is a good guy. I had excruciating back pain (sciatica) which Ive had before and he understood completely and was a nice guy. A couple of hours after filling my prescriptions my pain went from about a 10 on a scaleof 1-10 to about a 6 1/2. My only issue was the wait time. I waited almost 2 horus (with an appointment) but it was the day after Christmas-which was technically a holiday, so I gather most other facilities were closed. Additionally, I had this problem before, went in to a Minute Clinic or some other similar facility and after taking my temperature, and going through my entire medical history, they basically told me to go see my doctor, which was infuriating.

My experience here has always been awesome. Everything is electronic, which is great. When you make an appointment the wait is never long than 5/10 mins. Ive brought my toddler here, and I was never made to feel like I was creating an unwelcome scene by having a kid (youd be surprised how many people act this way to parents of young kids). Ive always been treated by people that were very respectful and educated. This is my go to urgent care because you can book an appointment online for same or next day, they have live updates on wait times online, and they text you appointment reminders. Good job Advanced Urgent Care.
