I really like the entire experience at Round Lake Family Dentistry. Everyone there is very friendly and informative. Candace and Francis always make it painless to schedule appointments, and handle all of the insurance prequalification. My work schedule is very fluid, so they will call me when they have a cancellation, to see if me or my kids can take the appt. to get in early. My hygienist, Missy is gentle, yet thorough. Nina is friendly, patient and very competent. Dr. Shah, has brought technology into dentistry in a very useful way. You can actually see your digital x-rays and video images of your teeth on the monitor in front of you, while he explains any issues or recommendations for your care. Another very convenient facet of this practice is their patient communication. After your appointment, you will get an email with your next appointment that contains links for Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Yahoo Calendar, that will allow you to automatically drop the appointment in to your online calendar. A few days before your appointment you will get a reminder text message that will allow you to confirm the appointment. For me this is great! When I schedule a cleaning 6 months out, I never know what my schedule will be like. Having this on my calendar, and getting a reminder allows me to work my schedule around my appointment. My family runs by this calendar, and if something isnt on there, its likely to conflict with something else. We will not be missing any dentist appointments. My entire family are patients there. They are using technology to make you dental care less complicated, and I appreciate it.

I rarely do reviews unless I have had an exceptional experience, either positive or negative. In this case I am happy to say it has been exceptionally positive. I am a person that hates the dentist. At least until recently. In fact I disliked going to the dentist so much that I had avoided it for more than twenty years. I had been fortunate and had no cavities or other issues during that time but eventually my luck ran out and I cracked a molar in 2015. After doing a lot of online research I decided on Round Lake Family Dentistry to take care of that issue. They took care of my molar problem with surprisingly little pain which convinced me to continue going o them for my dental care. I have since been on regular cleaning schedule and can definitely feel the difference in my gum health. Their dental services were (and are) excellent, but what made me decide to continue my dental acre with them is the overall "personality" of all the office staff. Dr. Shah and all (and I do mean ALL) of the staff are always cheerful, friendly and thoughtful. They made me feel comfortable from the very first time I went and that attitude has never changed. So, while I dont exactly "love" going to the dentist now, I do know that Round Lake Family Dentistry and their awesome staff will take great care of me start to finish. Highly recommended..

Looking for a new dentist? You’ve found him. I drove 40 miles to visit Dr.Shahs new clinic and I couldnt be much happier with the service that was provided. He is very personable and took the time to explain everything without being rushed. He even showed me my x-rays and explained signs of decay, damage etc. Ive never had a dentist be so thorough and was amazed at the level of professionalism and support provided by the staff and Dr. Shah. I am really picky about my dentists and have left several others due to poor service and poor professionalism and I can confidently say that Dr. Shah and Round Lake Family Dentistry is absolutely top notch. The office is modern, clean, and technologically advanced compared to my other dentists. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the experience. Dr.Shah’s staff is extremely nice, always on time and make you feel comfortable….everything you need in a dentist. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Shah and his team have officially earned the business of not only my entire family, but anyone that I come into contact with. I never thought the high point of my week would be telling someone how pleasant a dental experience would be! Not only were my treatments quick and pain-free, but the dental team made them personal. The standard of care has remained out of this world as I have continued to come in for treatments. Things that I never thought would get better are improving drastically. I have been so blown away by the knowledge, assertiveness, and interest in how my dental health impacts my overall health shown by Dr. Shahs team that I continue to talk about my experiences wherever I go. Even my six year old is asking when it will be her turn to go in for a checkup! Thank you for reversing my stigma about the dental world! You all are amazing care providers!

We recently moved away and were reminded quickly of how good we had it at RLFD LOL - its easy to say we will miss them. The staff was also very helpful and quick when we needed our xrays for our new dentist - so they dont only have your back when youre a client, either. We never experienced long wait times and were always able to get in because they have evening appointments unlike most dentists Ive been to. Thats a huge help for a SAHM who wants to get her teeth cleaned in peace. The doctor, although he looks 15 (haha!), is very sweet and never recommended work that was unnecessary, which my previous dentist constantly did. The building can be a bit tricky to find, as its in a small strip mall and the entrance to the parking lot is where you would turn into a neighborhood, but once you find it, youll love it. Highly recommend this practice.

You feel like family! I felt welcomed from the phone call to set up my appointment. I was scheduled in the same day. Front office administrators are so nice, friendly and helpful. The wait was minimal and Dr Shah came to welcome me shortly after I sat in the chair. Karina was great and assuring while doing my xrays, making sure I was as comfortable as possible. Then my cleaning was scheduled immediately, so that I could get another service done before I go on vacation. My cleaning was painless, thanks to Teresa, she was great. Even though I had to get a deep scaling, my mouth was not sore the next day. That has never happened. I love this office and would recommend anyone to come here. I am grateful to find a good and experienced dental home! ☺☺☺

I first found this place when my regular dentist was closed and my backup was out of town. Best decision I have ever made concerning my teeth. I highly recommend Dr. Shah and his entire office staff. Everything is explained and then a treatment plan is worked out that fits your time and budget. The prices are affordable, especially with their dental insurance. They scheduled me right away for my first visit to fix a crown that fell out from the other dentist. Today I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled and I didnt feel any pain or discomfort. It took less than 30 minutes for the whole visit, including scheduling the next appointment. This was another pleasant dental experience!!
