BEWARE!!! THEY CHARGE YOU $100 FOR MISSING AN APPOINTMENT. I had a really bad sore throat and I made an appointment with Dr. Vandana Jain. While I was visiting she asked me if I got my annual checkup. I told her I get my blood work done at work every year for free. She insisted that I should get my annual checkup because it was covered by insurance and I did not need to pay for it, so I made another appointment for the annual checkup. When I showed up for the appointment, the receptionist gave me a paper to sign that said if insurance does not cover the cost, I would need to be responsible for the payment. I told the receptionist that Dr. Jain told me that it will be covered by insurance and that is why I made the appointment, and that if it is not covered by insurance I would not want to go through with the appointment. The receptionist said that Dr. Jain does not know if things get covered or not and that it is my responsibility to check if it is covered. I asked the receptionist for my insurance phone# so that I can call and check. She looked at me with attitude and said, "dont you have your insurance card"? I told her I forgot and she rolled her eyes. She was just very rude. I missed work and fasted over night to get this done and they were not very helpful. So I told the receptionist to forget it, this is ridiculous and I am not going to do it, and then she says that I will be charged for missing the appointment. I told her I am here and this is not my fault. She said if I leave, they will charge me. They would not listen so I left. A few weeks later, I get my bill from Orchard Medical group. They charged me $100 for missing the appointment. $100? I called the billing department and told them what happened and they said that there was nothing that they can do for me. I needed to call the receptionist and ask them to waive the fees or reduce it. I called the receptionist and asked for a manager and I explained what happened, and I told her how rude the receptionist was and she was not helpful. She told me that she was there and she does not see anything wrong with it. The only way they would waive the $100 for missing the appointment was if Dr. Jain agreed to take it off. They told me to contact the Dr. Jain. I left a voicemail explaining what happened. A couple of hours later the receptionist called back and tells me that Dr. Jain would not waive the fee. I was very disappointed by their service and how they treated me as a patient. It was her fault for misleading me but she would not waive it. I love the location because it is right by my house and the underground parking. However, they were just trying to make a quick buck out of me. What kind of doctors office does this? They did not lose just me, they lost my husband as well.

I would give them ZERO stars if I could. I came in for my Annual Physical, which is supposed to be free through my insurance provider. Doc asks me how Im doing so I tell him about my health issues. They required me to submit to a blood test. Before I left, I asked the front desk if I had to pay out of pocket for the blood test. I was told that I wouldnt have to pay for it since its free. Weeks later, I get billed for the blood test, which is $140. The bill does not provide a web address or an email. It only you with a number to call if you have any complaints. AND, NOBODY ANSWERS WHEN YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had to ask the insurance company to do it. The insurance rep called the doctors office and they insisted that I came in not for my physical but with a complaint. When the doc asked me how I was doing health wise, was I supposed to lie and say I was feeling well ?! Please learn from my experience and just AVOID THIS PLACE. I have lots more to say, even with regards to the practice itself but I hope this will be enough to convince others not to go for a medical check-up here.

Dr. Wyse came highly recommended by an ER doctor friend. He takes his time with me...I never feel like he minds taking the time to answer my questions. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for my appointment and I have been going to Dr. Wyse for over 10 years. Also, if I wake up and am sick, I can always call and get an appointment that day. I have several friends that also see Dr. Wyse and their experiences are the same. Dr. Wyse is through and also practical. I highly recommend him.

I agree that this office is professional and efficient. My family has seen Dr. Wyse for many years but I have counted on a Wellness check through my job. When I finally decided to bite the bullet and actually see Dr. Wyse I appreciated his thorough, non-judgmental attitude. I was in and out of there in no time - no wait - and even the bone density is done in their offices. The bone density professional also helped me plan my meal for a dinner party I was having that evening!

My previous doctor fell out of network when I had to switch away from the failed Land of Lincoln this year. I gave the Old Orchard Medical Group a try based on convenient location alone. I met with Dr Stephen Kashian and had a great experience. He spent an unordinary amount of time with me and gave consideration to everything I had to say. The doctors go out of their way to be inviting, engaging, and professional. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience.

I love this practice. The office personnel are efficient and kind. They do their best to assist with appointments for sick visits. My doctor, Dr. Denenberg, takes as much time as necessary during appointments to hear all of your issues. He is an excellent diagnostician and in addition, a compassionate and truly wonderful human being. I have not used any of the other physicians in the group, but I understand they are excellent as well.

Dr. Wyse is outstanding. Ive been seeing him for over 20 years, because of his genuine empathy, integrity, and professional competency. Recently my insurance changed, so Ill have to pay 100% out of pocket to continue to see him, but I will gladly do so.
