This place is a joke when it comes to the suboxone program. They have little to no knowledge on how to utilize this treatment. The front desk is generally nice and also through conversation disagree with the clinical staffs treatment of persons in need of help with this program. The nurses and doctors are rude and have no compassion or remorse for those who seek treatment with opioid dependence. No wonder so many people in this town resort to just staying using heroine and other opiates. Dependence of opioids is a serious matter and API treats it as a joke and a way to rip people off. I first hand have heard comments there like "its all in your head" and "its only temporary" who gave these people the ability to practice??? Addiction is a disease that requires medical attention with a sense of urgency. I would never recommend this place to anyone that is serious about getting off the dope. API will violate your rights to get treatment and find a way to charge you money if you go there pay and realize they have no clue what they are doing. Shame on this place because they want you to fail. And to the Doctor there you should do our community a favor and close this clinic.

I never write bad reviews but will today..this was the most uncomfortable and bad doctors office experience I have had.The man working the counter was nice and good with our kids who were with us. The nurse we worked with was a bit forward and rude. She also let us know she was feeling really sick that day. The doctor performed the tasks needed only AFTER harassing me about what type of insurance I had and accusing me of faking for insurance and arguing with us in front of our kids - after I already called ahead to make an appointment and check on insurance.WhileIthe doctor continued to make stabs at my husband for his demeandoctor through our visit.p Then when we were preparing to leave he came back into the room to harass me some more and let me know to not be disrepectful because we help people here. I am very thankful and respectful of doctors and their staff. This facility, however, does not feel the same about their patients.Just after our visit with this staff I have doubts about the confidentiality of our files and visit. I felt extremely disrespected. We will have our files transferred.We will not be back.

I have seen older reviews but those must have been from the API Clinic where Dr. Rathod practiced before coming to Crawfordsville 6 months ago. This new API is the only urgent care facility in Crawfordsville covered by my Anthem BCBS insurance (AFC Silver level) and I was very pleased! Easy to check in. Be prepared with usual insurance info, contact info, medical/surgical history, meds used, etc., same as needed everywhere. The facility is very comfortable, clean, well equipped. The staff is efficient and capable. The nurse took vitals & history, entered that into the system. Dr. Rathod was personable and was good to answer questions, explain, clear treatments with me, etc. Its good to advocate for yourself, so dont be afraid to question. Following a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia and a joint decision to treat the bronchitis aggressively due to upcoming travel, treatments were immediately given, Rx sent to local pharmacy, and we were on our way. Highly recommend.

Horrible! Lousy doctor, doesnt care about his patients, just their money. Staff cant even be bothered to answer the phone and the doctor wont shut up long enough for you to tell him whats wrong! Not to mention, I know doctors are crooks, but this guy takes the cake! In spite of all that, you cant understand a single word he says! Save time, money and patience by finding an american doctor that cares about their patients. The people that wrote all of the positive reviews are either stupid, employees or paid to leave them. They are totally absurd!

Wait time was ridiculous. Receptionist was very polite. The vitals nurse was fast and efficient, also very polite. There was no parking available. Sorry, but for people like me that is extremely important! The M.D nurse was also very good. My appointment was at 10:30a.m. Im writing this in an office at 11a.m. Still waiting for a doctor. 25 minutes later still waiting on a doctor. Over an hour just in the patient room and ten minutes of a doctor not listening. On my way out finally after over an hour and 50min.

I arrived 30 minutes prior to the opening so that I could go first and try to get to work on time. I was the first person to enter the clinic. I had filled out my paper work and paid my $30 copay. The assistant, who arrived one minute after the clinic should have opened, took 15 minutes to boot up the computer and turn on the lights, etc. Then she proceeded to take two people back before me. I got mad and left after 30 minutes. I hope they refund my money, but I wont go back.

I know all the girl try their best some more than others The new Latina girl Cristina she is beautiful longest eyelashes she can check my pulse anytime she is always kind fast activate wants to keep everything moving even though she is new she is doing a great job she will be a great benefit for that clinic I will keep going so she can check me heart one day Great service Could use a bit a cleaning

Worst place in the world owed them 158 and told them I would pay them Friday doc said well this place dont run with out money and have me noth8ng then wanted to charge me to see him my insurance company is investigating them for over charging and th8ng that never happened its just wrong how he work I was sick for nine days before I got to another doctor.....POS money hungry

We have been in this clinic several times over the last few months due to the wait time for an appointment at my previous doctors office. I was very impressed with the quality of care by the physician and staff. I especially like being able to walk in and be seen on the same day. Thank you for all you do. I will be transferring my whole family to your clinic .

I have had an occasion to have a grandson to this facility and have found all of the personnel to be very efficient and courteous. The facility is always very clean and welcoming. It is especially convenient that a patient does not need an appointment to have one day service. All in all, I have found this to be a positive experience.

Terrible. Horrible. Dr Rathod was insensitive & outright cruel at times. He says "we help people here" No. No you dont. I was also sent a bill when I stopped going. Ridiculous charges I was assured were included in the visits. I have spoken with a few attorneys whove all said I have grounds for a lawsuit because of how I was treated.

Doctor came in, took one quick glance at my daughter and immediately knew she needed and IV and meds from dehydration...5 hours later we went home, the next day she was back on her feet and eating again. I was very happy with them for taking so much time to get her better without an actual ER visit.

Hardworking staff that make sure you leave happy and healthy and it costs less than an ER visit. I would highly recommend API Clinic if you can not make it into your regular doctors office or even if youre from out of town and need medical treatment. They take great care of all of their patients.
