Concerned Parent

I had an appointment scheduled for my son at 8 am on a Saturday. I had to work that morning so my father took my son to his appointment. They were there about 10 minutes early, the doors were locked and no cars were in the parking lot. They called the office and no one answered (like usual, even during business hours). My father stayed until 8:10 and left. The therapist claims she was there. She marked it as a no show and then in turn called CPS on me with ridiculous claims. This has been an absolute nightmare. Imagine going somewhere to get your son mental help and getting a call at work from CPS saying they need to talk to me in my home. They need to talk to me alone as well as with my kids alone. Absolute stress filled nightmare. The therapist didnt even call me to see why my son was not there, interesting enough he was there. They will not return my calls. Ive left messages asking to speak to a supervisor with no return call to this day and to add are charging me $65 for a no show. I am absolutely considering talking to a lawyer about this situation. It would be interesting to see video of the parking lot if they have cameras. I feel like the therapist is trying to cover up the fact she was very late that day, extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend Hendricks Theropy to anyone and I hope this review will save others from the possible nightmare that I have gone through.

I have been going here over 5 years. I think people need a lesson on the different "doctors and counselors" you need to see for different issues. However, Hendricks is nice enough not to require you to see a counselor. The Psychiatrists, you generally are only speaking to them about medications and new symptoms, about 15 min appointment. If you need to have counseling or start with some kind of diagnosis, then you see a psychologist or a counselor. At most facilities you generally HAVE TO see one of those first and then be referred to a Psychiatrist. Now that we have that out of the way. I have seen both Psychiatrists and they are absolutely wonderful. You have to engage(ask questions, say how your feeling, etc) in your own therapy to get better, they dont have every answer, but they will try their hardest to help you. They have both gone above and beyond for me. I appreciate the office staff and dealing with all those annoying prior authorizations. They are well worth the visit.

well i went here to inquire about actually starting an ongoing treatment plan which would include speaking with a doctor occasionally and possibly suplimenting this with a nurse practitioner for things like dispensing medication. long story short i NEVER actually saw a doctor and all the nurse was concerned with was taking my pulse and staring at the clock. i never actually was in the same room with the nurse for longer than 15 minutes and i never actually talked about anything that may have been bothering me. but every time i left i was given a bill for 50 dollars. so if you plan to go here for THERAPY dont waste your time. if you want to pay 50 dollars more for your prescriptions this is your place for sure, because for the extra 50 dollars all i ever got was out of bed early, my blood pressure and pulse taken. BUT NO KIND OF THERAPY(even after asking if this would ever be a possibility) some new info...they were charging me 50.00 per visit......my copay is supposed to be 35.

Great Place! Staff is great! Dr. Mulinix has taken the time and I have FINALLY been diagnosed correctly! For 30 yrs I have been treated for depression. Other places just gave me something that just made me be able to function in every day life...But for the first time I can actually claim I am not depressed. I feel alive again...I wish I had found this place A LOT sooner! My advice is... never give up...it might take a few months to get THAT right balance of medicine...but its worth the wait! This place cares!

I see Dr. Mullinex and the only kind of "therapy" hes good for is renewing your prescription because he wont release permission to the pharmacy to refill them when theyre due. He doesnt listen or really even remember major details about you. He even gave a full appointment (about 5 minutes) and he thought I was someone completely different and had the wrong chart up. I certainly hope the other doctors arent like him. If youre only looking for a doctor to fill your meds, hes your man

As I said for the Plainfield location, Ive been working with Dr. Borders for 9 or 10 years. Ive never had any trouble with him or his office staff (most know me by name, now.) There have been times that Ive been stuck in traffic or snow and theyve accommodated me. Once I got my appointment times mixed up and when I got to the office Dr. Borders came back in to see me! Again, great Doc, great staff, never rude.

I had an absolutely horrible experience. I saw Kim Grande who was the most condescending and hateful therapist I have ever met. I left within about 5 minutes of starting my session, and I will not ever be returning here. This woman should not be a therapist. I wish I could give 0 stars.

The staff is incredibly rude. They lack severely in compassion for patients. I highly recommend going some place else. This place will make you worse and even wanna slit your wrist. Even my Dr said he no longer refers patients there. Care To Change in Avon is top notch!!

My therapist is usually late and doesnt return calls. I needed fmla paperwork and its been 20 days since it was faxed to them. Now I cannot receive a response and its the final day. I will be in trouble with my job because of this centers lack of professionalism.
