My family member has to take a controlled substance to stay focused on tasks. They asked them to do a drug test. Of course my family member did the drug test & passed with flying colors.... We have health insurance and we pay a mint every month for it.... Our labs are covered at 100% through Quest lab. However, this sneaky office doesnt tell you that they send your drug screen to ETHOS lab. Imagine our shock to know they sent our familys drug test to a different lab. We got a bill for $220. when I called the office, NO ONE knew what was going on...they all told us different things. One person even said, "this is an Indiana law"... Well guess what...they are liars, it isnt.... the only drug that there is a law about drug testing is opioids. So if we continue to see our favorite caring doctor, the fact that my family needs a medication, we have to pay ETHOS lab bills. Which apparently they will reduce it "down" to $80 per another staff member. So we pay $488 a month for medical coverage, cost of the medication $70 & another $80 for the drug trust... Hmmmm whos the drug dealer? Why arent patients given this information before about cost & a way to reduce fees? BTW $80 dollars is ridiculously high if you are a paying for medical insurance that covers labs at 100% Premier Family Health, are they getting kick backs or something in exchange for ONLY using Ethos Lab.... My gut tells me yes. BTW: Quid Pro Quo is against the law. Ethos labs is horrible... we just got our 1st bill in the mail, and they said our payment is more that 60 days late. We cant pay a bill we know NOTHING about. PEOPLE THAT ABUSE DRUGS RUIN IT FOR PEOPLE THAT NEED DRUGS! Just another way to take advantage of a hardworking family & tax payer!! I wonder if this "office" & its "policies" really care about patients. I feel like its more of a ransom. Writing this review is tough because we love our doc and know he truly cares about his patients. Wish I could have given 5 stars. I get that doctors pay around 200k for schooling. If they want to drug test their patients, FINE, they should be able too... But dont monopolize the patients finances! That is basically making the patient pay more than their copay, their Rx copay & their lab copay. I am trying to save for my retirement. If the office really cares about their patients they should let the patients use their contracted lab. The staff needs a great deal of training. It doesnt help when you see the staff texting, selfie taking, ect... one person I approached seemed irritated that I interrupted her snap chat & texting session to pay my co-pay.

The doctors office side is great. Very efficient, gets you in and out as quickly as possible and tries to keep things running smoothly. Dr. Yoder is very knowledgeable, kind and willing to work with patients, though she seems rushed during appointments. The only reason I didnt give this location 4 or 5 stars is because of an experience with the lab staff. Another patient and I showed up for labs about 7:50a (they open at 8a). The outside door was open but the inside door was locked. We were content to just wait there, but a nurse opened the door for us and let us in to check in. We were waiting in the lobby patiently, no complaining. At 7:58am, the lab nurses began having a very loud conversation right within earshot of us: Lab nurse #1: "why do we have two people here already? Its not even 8am?" Lab nurse #2: "we left the stupid door unlocked so they just walked in." Lab nurse #1: "ugh, this sucks" Im sure they didnt realize we could hear them and were just venting, but it was quite unprofessional and made things awkward when they eventually called me back (at 8:10a) because I knew they were clearly annoyed. But if you open at 8am, I would expect you would be ready to work at 8am.

DrMike Summit is awesome DR he helped me so much he is no longer with the company. the new doctor Kyle treated me like I was a criminal said I was committing fraud and they could no longer be my doctor. Sent me a letter saying=I regret to inform you that Dr Yoder and her Associates do not feel comfortable continuing this dr /patient relationship. The doctor has provided you with enough medicine until you find another dr this is NOT TRUEI called today to get breathing medicine- medicines that Dr Summit prescripted me back in 2014 and KYLE KURASZ would not fill any of my medicine and when its time to fill my pain medicine probably wont be able to fill it either. I was targeted and I know why Im a LESBIAN.

I recently had a missed call from the office because I was on a work call. Since there was no message left, I thought it would be a long shot if I reached someone at the front desk who knew who had called and why. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when the person who answered the phone spent about five minutes asking me questions and eventually was able to figure out who they were calling about and why they called. I thought she definitely went above and beyond in helping me!!

Had the pleasure meeting mr Yoder today. Not a patient yet but will be soon. They seem like a very knowledgeable and family oriented doctors office
