The eye doc at this clinic is super nice and actually listened to my concerns, but this place still isnt worth it. I had issue after issue. 1: Scheduled appt online. Arrived and they didnt have record of it. I had to reschedule and return the next week. 2: Called to tell me my contacts were ready, so I went in to pick them up. When I arrived, I was told that they had to be polished and soak for 24hrs first. Id have to come back. 3: One of the lenses (gas permiable) broke while being polished and had to be reordered. 4: Once again told to come and pick up lenses. I specifically asked if theyd already been soaked for 24hrs and was told they had. Got there and they hadnt! Thats 5 trips and 3 months for 1 appt and 1 pair of contacts! Sadly, after only a couple of months one of the contacts fell out without me even realizing it (had fallen out a few times before, so I assume that it wasnt fit properly). These werent disposable lenses, so Im just out $200 and cant see. They also refuse to send my eye glass RX elsewhere. I have to go in and pick it up. Nothing but a hassle!!! This is one of the few places that accepts my vision insurance. Even so, Ill pay out of pocket before returning here.

I was very happy with the doctor at this location. She was very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to me. I had an issue with one of my eyes that required a follow up appointment which the doctor told me would be scheduled for me and that I would get a call with the appointment time. It has been three months since my appointment and I have heard nothing. It is a shame that the doctor at this location does not have a better front office staff. The day of my appointment I came in with two other people for exams as well. The two men at the desk made very little effort to help the people with me. They actually tried to discourage them from using this location. I am happy to report that I called the location today and that new staff have been hired. The person I talked to was very helpful and I am hopeful that my appointment will be scheduled.

My son and my granddaughter have both gotten glasses at this Dr. Tavel store. While both pairs of glasses were well made and greatly improved the wearers vision, on both occasions no effort was made to fit the new frames to the wearers face. In both instances I had to drive back at least once to have the frames adjusted so that they fit correctly and didnt slip or fall off. Why on earth isnt it a policy for Tavel employees to ensure that each pair of glasses sold is adjusted BEFORE they are taken out of the store?? This lack of service drags down what is otherwise a good, solid business.

The new staff at this location is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! I used to go to Americas best but decided on a whim to walk in and give them a try. Needless to say I was blown away by the level of professionalism and kindness each and everyone of the staff has shown me and my family!! They always make sure that I maximize my insurance qualifications!!! Stephanie is GREAT!!! This location has EARNED a new customer FOR LIFE!!! If you or your family need any vision help I urge you to give this place a chance!!! Love them!!! Andre Johnson

I am very pleased with service i recieved. The staff were very helpful and took their time every step. Exceptional service throughout visit and took extra time helping me pick out frames. They were professional..knowledgeable...curtious ...friendly...know all aspects of their jobs. Thank you for getting the right staff to do fantastic job. I had a great experience while there. The wait was not long at all, the ladies behind the counters were working well, and when they were not working they were doing all they could to help me find the right glasses for me. Very thankful that they know the frames because I was lost. The Dr. was friendly, and got my eyes checked quickly. Checkout was a breeze. A big thanks to Stephanie for all her help!

What a great place to buy your glasses. I found a nice selection and the people were very helpful. Even after I purchased my glasses, I need some advice about eye drops. I was greeted nicely and helped on which eye drops would work for me. Thanks again, for all your help and advice.

Both Jennifer and Stephanie were very helpful in choosing the right kind of glasses. And we received a great deal on our glasses after they educated us on their current promotions. We were extremely satisfied with our visit and will continue to use their facility.

The store was very clean, all the staff and Doctor very nice and pleasant. I went into this store with three small children and the manager herself assisted me in entertaining them thru all my eye appointments. I definitely will go back and recommend this office.

Just wanted to say how professional the staff was especially Jennifer and the eye doctor, they told me my glasses would take a week or two to come in and they were in in 1 week. I love my new glasses, and am very pleased with the experience I had.

Run in the opposite direction of these people. They are an absolute pain to deal with. Their service is shoddy at best, and their customer care is the worst Ive ever experienced. If i could give zero stars I would have.
