Ive run into a handful of really confident Drs in my medical past. Dr Kasteler is probably the only one that really had full reason to be. This guy knows his stuff!!! Super relaxed and extremely proficient at Dermatology. Each time Ive met with him hes known exactly what was going on and what action to take. (side note: 15 yrs ago my stepmother was misdiagnosed by two local dermatologists then spent a month at the Mayo clinic, who released her without a correct diagnosis. Dr. K was the only one to shed light on her situation and pull her out of a miserable situation. )

I am one of those people who really dislikes most Doctors and I LOVE Dr. Kasteler. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and I have even had other Dermatologists comment on how great a job he did with my scalp surgery. Im not really even able to find a scar and he did the surgery without having to shave my scalp or put me under like I had 2 other Drs tell me was necessary. You can tell he really knows what hes doing and does his work with confidence. Im really thankful he is my Doctor.

I was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis when I was fourteen years old and never had relief until about age 45 I found Dr.K who painstakingly tried every possible solution until we hit the jackpot and I felt better and happier than I can describe. Unfortunately, I moved south and have gone to six dermatologists in the Low Country and my condition is worse than it ever was. Seriously considering the 12 hour drive for my appointments!

Dr. Kasteler has been my dermatologist for at least 20 yrs. He takes good care of me in handling my psoriatic disease. I dont always like some of my treatments but he always is very gentle and mindful of my discomfort. I could not ask for a better doctor when it comes to treat and helping me live with my disease.
