Kevin Crawford is a fantastic dermatologist, and hes been my doctor for a number of years. Ive always had trust in him, and hes provided excellent me with excellent care. My experience with the administration isnt always a great experience. I was scheduled for a 7:40 am appointment, which I opted, and I arrived at 7:30 am. I was informed that being scheduling an early appointment, I would be able to be seen and leave quicker than an afternoon appointment. When I got into my room, I was asked if I would still like a full body scan, which is what the appointment was scheduled for. When I said, "yes," I waited until 8:20 am until I called into my appointment. Then I waited for another 20 minutes or so before I was seen by Dr. Crawford. He seemed somewhat rushed, and he didnt spend much time with me at all. I was even a little sun burnt, which I have been in the past and he made comments, but not this time. I was not happy with my check up in this appointment. And when I was checking out, I was informed that I was "skipped over," even though I checked in 10 minutes early. Overall, it seems like with every appointment, theyve overbooked too closely together, a lot of patients wait for a long time, and the appointments are seeming more general than genuine than every before.

I have a problem with Freckle like moles that have to be watched and often removed. Im 45 and had to start seeing a dermatologist in my early 20s. Ive lost count of my surgeries but many were precancerous or type that could be come melanoma. I also have other skin problems. I have seen dermatologist where I use to live and they were good but Dr. Crawford is Great! He is very professional and at the same time kind and compassionate. He always has a smile on his face and greets you like family. He listens to your concerns and includes you in you treatment options. I highly respect him and am thankful hes been my Dermatologist for over a year now. Waiting time short, he values your time. You can tell he loves his job and really takes his patients health seriously. I highly recommend him as a Doctor. He has done skin surgeries on me and taken very good care of me. I see him every 6 months and I trust him completely. He always ask before visit is over if there is anything else he can do for me, if I have any other concerns or questions. Thank you Doctor Crawford and may God bless you and your staff that are very kind and helpful!

Doctor Crawford is extremely professional. Very caring and from what I have experienced very talented with his scalpel. He seriously could be a plastic surgeon. The only flaw i could come up with is this. During the procedure he left the room and allowed another young girl to cauterize the incision. This would not have been so bad but you could tell that she was very experienced as she was being coached by another young girl that was more experiences than her. This made me feel very nervous like i was at one of those hair cutting schools where they practice on your hair for a discounted hair cut. I understand one must gain experience on someone at some time. However, I would have preferred, because this was on my face, that an experienced board certified physician perform this part of the procedure. Regardless, this doctor is A1. I highly recommend him.

I had Moh surgery at the Bloomington Office and from the time I walked into the door I was made to feel very comfortable. The staff went beyond and above to make sure I knew what was going on and that I was doing OK. Dr. Crawford was very pleasant and also made me feel very comfortable. My husband was with me and Dr. Crawford had him stand and explained different times as to what he was doing. Later in the afternoon as I was at home Dr. Crawford called with a follow up to see how I was doing. He told me that I could call him anytime if I needed. I thought that was very thoughtful and that he really does care about his clients.

It was very stressful. Thinking I was just having a tiny pin hole fixed and ending up with a huge incision and repair was more than I personally planned for. Dr. Crawford did a wonderful job and attendants were great but I think something should be given for emotional discomfort. Valium would be my choice. I probably got at least 40+ shots - most of which were very uncomfortable. I just dont see a need in someone hurting that much along with losing the looks of their nose they had for 70 years. It could have been MUCH less stressful.

Wasnt necessarily looking forward to my basal cell carcinoma procedure, but Dr. Crawford and his staff made it as painless as possible. During the surgery and follow-up visits, they were accommodating and gentle. Dr. Crawford gave me complete aftercare instructions, and I never got the feeling he was trying to talk me into or out of any course of action. Im four weeks past the surgery date now and am very pleased with the way the site is healing. I would certainly recommend his services.

I regret making an appointment at this office. The entire staff was impersonal and what I would call rude to me as well as other patients. I wanted advice from the doctor, but he did not really answer any of my questions nor make any recommendations. The Doctor did not even really examine my skin after I asked for a body check. He was just interested in me making another appointment in six months---for what he did not do anything for me. I would not recommend this facility.

In addition, he is an excellent doctor, and has provided accurate assessments and appropriate care to resolve my issues. I consider him one of the finest doctors I have ever known.

Surgery to remove a squamous cell carcinoma went very well. Each step of the procedure and post surgery requirements were thoroughly explained. All staff involved were great. Received a same-day-follow-up call at home from Dr. Crawford to check on my post surgery status and to make sure I was doing well. Greatly appreciated!

Dr. Crawford is a personable individual with excellent surgical skills. My most recent visit was a 6 month follow-up on removing a cancer on an ear that required a skin graft. The surgery went well, the ear healed well, and no further signs of cancer. I sincerely recommend him for any dermatology concerns that you may have.

Dr. Crawford and staff are friendly. However the billing department has continually gotten my bill incorrect. I have to call them often with my proof of payment because of mistakes in billing. Tired of arguing with billing department. Wasnt a problem until they expanded and changed to Forefront Dermatology.
