I am sorry to say that I will be taking my two pet dogs to another veterinarian. After being a client for almost 20 years with my dogs, it is amazing to me to think that the service towards me was so poor. I called in with a request to schedule my black lab for an appointment as she was very sick. Once I reached the animal hospital, I was put on hold for almost 5 minutes. When I finally had someone to speak to, the only reaction I received after explaining the dogs condition was sorry cannot get you in for 2 weeks. Considering my loyalty to this provider for pet services, I was disappointed. When I said that I guess I would have to find another vet for my 2 dogs, nothing was done to keep me as a client. Terrible customer service in my view. No suggestions from them for as what to do. This comes after I had a vet 2 years ago not discover that my dog had fleas. I should have left them at that point in time, but thought I would give them one more chance. That was obviously one chance to many. They dont really seem to care about their animals. By the way I contact Southway Animal Hospital and was worked in their schedule within 2 hours. Now that is service. I would suggest people consider leaving this place and finding another Animal Hospital. Very disappointed for little concern shown to my pet. I would have provided 0 stars but Google would not allow this.

Not what it once was. We previously referred anyone we could to Kem Rd. They were wonderful, helpful, quick and answered any and all of our questions. Dr. Ratliff left about 2 years ago and we have seen a decline in service since then. When we recently had a problem with one of our pups we scheduled an appointment. My wife waited about 40 minutes to see the doctor. The doctor did not answer my wifes questions. When there was a prescription filled, she was told they would call. They sent a follow up email which they asked if we had any follow questions in. I thought email would be a quick and easy way for them to respond so, asked about the progress of the medication. We didnt hear back again for a few more days. It wasnt until until we called in again 4 days later, which they replied that the prescription was filled 4 days ago. When my wife expressed disappointment in the lack of communication they dismissed the issue. We had never experienced anything like this when we first started Kem Rd. I wish I had better things to say and I could continue to refer people there but I cant in good conscience .

I took my dog to Kim Road Animal Hospital a few years back she was acting diffrent and couldnt walk without falling over. They said she just has a cold and once she is over it will feel better. After a few more days she hadnt gotten better. I called Southway and ask for a second opinion. They told me that she was extremely anemic and needed a blood transfusion. She was in the hospital for 3 day and receive multiple transfusions. On the third day when I went to get her she was her happy little self running around and jumping on everything. Ever since this experience I would not go back to Kim road or even refer anyone there unless they want their pet to die.

i didnt actually have my dog worked on at their hospital but i would. i called about an injury my dog recieved form being hit by a car and tehy worked with me to try and get me the best and lowest priced option. they were very nice and i would have went there but my gf was works at another vet clinic and i was able to get a discount there so i went there. but thank you for the help

We LOVE Kem Road Animal Hospital! I have recommended several people because the staff genuinely cares about our pets. We have two dogs and a cat so we visit them quite often and always feel like our questions are answered and that the staff has our pets best interest in mind. They also try to keep your costs low and dont prescribe unnecessary treatments.

I love taking my pets to Kem Road Animal Hospital because I know they will receive excellent medical care. The medical staff are friendly and have always been very gentle and kind to our pets. I highly recommend taking your pets to Kem Road Animal Hospital where they will be provided with compassionate quality veterinary care.

Phone #s are out of service. Not sure if they are out of business or what. I didnt receive any notice informing me of any changes at their office. Not sure if I still have a veterinarian. Better start looking for another. Cant believe they didnt send out a notification.

We have had the Kem Road vets care for our pets for about fifteen years now and couldnt be more pleased. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and have real empathy for the relationship between the pet and owner.
