Was extremely disappointed in Aspen Dental. I went in for a check up and cleaning only to hear that I had good healthy teeth no cavities but slight case of Gingivitis. Well the strange thing is that I know of a couple of others went there for simple toothache, got the tooth pulled and ended also having slight case of Gingivitis costing them over $600.00 and my bill for my two visits to take care of my Gingivitis would have been over $1300.00 and Aspen was willing to quickly set me up on a payment plan. NO THANK YOU. I plan on getting second opinion on my Gingivitis if I have it or not. I know the signs and symptoms we will see, but the pressure to set up payment plan felt a bit like a scam that they had possible gotten a few others on. Plus when I ask if I was getting my cleaning I was denied. So if I didnt go for the big Gingivitis cleaning I got nothing. I will not return to Aspen nor will I promote them.

if there was an option for very poor I would choose it...I went there a few years ago and they told me they could save a tooth with a crown...im like ok sure I had insurance...I paid almost $300 out of pocket for this crown.. took 2 weeks to get it...following week it came off...then came off a month later...the last time I went there they were cleaning the filling stuff off of it and drilled 2 holes threw it....didnt bother to say hey we messed it up we will order you another one...no I found out when I got home..well a few months later the tooth started to hurt...went somewhere else...it was loose and rotting because aspen put a crown with holes drilled in it on my tooth...now claiming I owe them a ton of money...they did nothing right and I will NEVER go back there...there shouldnt even be In business...so be carefull everyone they will try and screw you over 2

The experience depends on the dentist. As far as I can tell there are two dentists working there. One is a very professional and assuring woman that does great work and that I cant recommend enough. The other is car salesman/ stand up comic that cant be bothered to give numbing shots himself and has the hygienist do it instead and lets an seemingly inexperienced dental assistant do the fillings while only quickly glancing around to make sure everything is okay. I left that place the last time feeling incredibly anxious and angry thanks to that dentist and assistant that could barely do their jobs right and kept making comments about torture. That dentist needs to be fired and the dental assistant that works with him needs more oversight or training or both.

I just left the Muncie Indiana Aspen Dental branch and to say that it was a positive experience would be an under statement. I have always had an overwhelming fear of going to the dentist and when that is the case with someone it matters a great deal how the staff conducts themselves. Everyone I encountered there was pleasant, patient, caring, and friendly. I was so impressed with the environment this group of professionals created, from the Dr. himself to the office manager Chasity, to the oral hygienist and x-ray tech, that I am here now doing a review, which is something I never do. Because of this wonderful and caring group of professionals I am looking forward to the work I need to have done rather than dreading it. An excellent experience, indeed.

I had grave concerns with the capability of this office. My 90+ year old mother went there to have dentures made, but she has chronically had problems with these dentures from the beginning. Recently a tooth fell out and I called to see what recourse she had since we were outside of the guarantee period. Jennifer, the office manager got my mother in the next day and said she would also speak with the doctor about making this situation right. I am pleased with their concern for their patients and willingness to do what is right, especially with senior citizens who can fall victim to undesirable practices. Thanks to Jennifer (shes a real pro) and Aspen Dental for being fair in my mother. . You turned distrust into a trustworthy situation

I walked in on Nov. 14th 2013, felt miserable with a bad toothache. Was about 20 min. in waiting room filling paperwork out, just minutes later I was asked to step back to room for my prep work to get done. Amazing how prompted this staff took interest and concerned in taking care of my tooth problem. WoW just about 20 min later after the dentist and his assistance told me I was done after pulling 2 wisdom teeth. Made me feel at home with the great feeling these people care about helping ya out. I was so pleased with the entire visit and the staff made me feel like a King. Appreciate the kindness and concern making me feel cared about . Looking forward to my future appt. Thank You Muncie,IN. The staff was great! Everyone was professional, caring, and made sure I understood everything. The doctor was kind and understanding to my needs and wants. I am terrified of dentists and Dr. Shamsi was great! He sat and talked to me about my concerns and options before even looking at my teeth. He took the extra time with me to make me comfortable with him. That really means alot and really made an impact on my experience. The only negative regarding my experience so far is that even when you do have an appointment you are still not seen timely. I am not sure if that can be controlled or not. But I can overlook that because of the care I have received.

The email, 2 texts and call to confirm was VERY annoying. The lady that goes over estimates is very gross in that she constantly clearing her nose out, every couple seconds she sniffs/grunts to clear her nose, its very gross. Why have a person with sinus issues in front. This was on 2 occasions she was doing that noise. Plus, I refused the fluoride and cancer screening but she tried to charge me. I had to ask exactly what was listed as done. The hygienist didnt even talk to me very much and then didnt warn me she was going to put the chair down. The dentist was kind, friendly and very professional. The waiting room very hot.

They didnt get my insurance billing correct 5 times in a row. They strongly suggested that I get 6 sealants less than a year ago. Now, going to another dentist, Im going to have to have every sealant that I paid for drilled out and replaced with fillings. At least 2 so far are so bad that theres a 50/50 chance that theyll have to have root canals. This Aspen dental has worst experience that Ive ever has with any dentist / doctor. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Excellent: This was, in my 67 years of going to a dentist, the most wonderful experience. What I first liked is they were on time...did not have to sit around for hours. Professional, and no pain. Friendly, clean and affordable. This is the first time a dental office did not say I needed tens of thousands of work, literally! Last dentist said it would be 3 thousand to fix one tooth....I recommend this office.
