Too all those people complaining and giving negative reviews: Meridian Health Services primarily exists for people who are too poor to afford health care from normal doctors/services and/or are disabled and have difficulties going to normal doctors. They have a MASSIVE amount of clients and a long wait list of people who are trying to become clients because they are such a low-cost place. Things may seem slow or quick sometimes because staff is often overstretched and doing the jobs of multiple people in order to try to handle the massive work load. If your response is "Well they should hire more people" or "they shouldnt take on so many clients" my answer to you is this: they are doing the best they can with the resources they are being given. Many uninsured and disabled people go there for free or for pennies to have visits and medicines that normally cost hundreds of dollars. I myself would not be alive and successful today if it wasnt for these people. No, they arent for everyone, if you can afford to go somewhere else, then go somewhere else. If you are poor, or disabled, and need someone who will work with you within your issues and constraints, then they are for you. If you cant handle waiting a little bit longer for a practically free service that they dont have to provide to you in the first place, then maybe you dont deserve to go to them?

Well I guess I shouldve looked at the reviews on their page before going to this place. My main doctor is Dr. Brahams, which I really liked her up until today. Ive been having severe cramping for longer than what I should. I have lost a job because of it. She diagnosed me with severe dysmenorrhea in August and then in October referred me to Dr. Reeves. Dr. Reeves is very uncompassionate and very rude. So I switched to the Voss center because I do not trust Dr. Reeves to operate on me after meeting her, and the meridian center knows about it. My appointment at the Voss center is not till mid February. I finally found a job and they wanted my doctor to fill out a form in case I need to miss while I am on my period. SHE would not fill out the form, she totally refused!!!! And now I may lose another job because they would not help!!!!! And I believe that its because I changed centers. They are very rude and uncompassionate and I will NEVER go there again and I suggest nobody else goes there either unless you want a bad experience!!!!!

I had a doctor appt april 13, doctor did not call back for 2 weeks and didnt leave a voice mail either so I had no idea what my test results were. I left a voicemail 3 weeks later - no return call. I call back again 5 weeks later demanding my test results so I can finally get treated - still told they will call me back. Worst healthcare service ever. DO NOT book an appointment here because they will not even try to help you get treated. They are understaffed and dont check the voicemail for weeks and weeks at a time. I could have ever lasting health issues because they refuse to call my phone and tell me the results from my test. I was told 3-5 days, it has been 5 weeks to this day and no one has attempted to contact me despite my multiple attempts. Maleeha Khadid MD has the most out right unprofessional office.

I was patient in the "psych ward" at IUBMH. It was the worst experience of my life. Unfortunately Meridian is the only source of psychiatry in the Muncie area. I had no therapy, nor did any of the patients. The only "therapy" were medications which kept most of the people somewhat docile or asleep. The nursing staff is in dire need of the correct training on the handling of mental patients. We were all treated as criminals who were going to destroy.something or hurt someone. If you or someone you love needs in-patient care do NOT go to Meridian.

I just tried calling there asking what time they closed today and the girl who answered was rude as hell! Ya she told me what time they closed after a 10 second pause and as soon as I am about to ask another questin, SHE HANGS UP ON ME! wow. That makes me feel real good about going there and I dont knw that I even want to now! Real professional people there. Haha. Way to go on how to treat new patients.

Horrible wait time, only a few doctors for Meridian MD and all of them are quacks who believe Anti-Depressants solve everything. The waiting room is stupid, go there and you will see. Meridian has capitalized on the entire health services in the area and force users to live and go by their own means, and meridian MD is a horrible doctor service. Especially for psychiatric care.

Love my Dr Barhams. The front staff are rude and unprofessional. Shrugging your shoulder at a patient for your offices mistake is ridiculous. You are the ones that make or break most of the experience we have. If I didnt like my doctor so much I wouldnt return. Please retrain your front staff. They are the highest reason you are rated at a 2.7

Keep in Mind Meridian Health Services provides Services in different areas and levels of care; Medical, Out-patient Mental Health Therapy, Psychiatric, and Emergency Psychiatric Inpatient.
