This was my first surgery ever. I had to have a kidney stone removed from my right side. Before I was called back the receptionist gave my husband a paper so he was prepared for what was going to happen to me to read over. Stating that the anesthesia might make me forgetful right after surgery so I wouldnt know how long Id been in recovery etc. They called me back and I told my nurse that I am a hard iv patient so she took extra care to get my iv on the first try. Which she did. And she was very nice. My family came back to see me off to surgery. And then the next thing I knew I was in recovery. My husband are back and they explained my after care to us both and told us that I had to get two prescriptions filled and handed us a whole packet of into. She also explained that my surgery was slightly more difficult than planned so I needed to change my follow up appointment. Over all I was happy with the staff and how things went. I would recommend. :)

As of 12 January 2017, this facility is undergoing renovation that will not be completed until May 2017. There is construction inside and outside the building resulting in confusing signage and entrances, high noise levels, and virtually no privacy for patients or their families. As a day surgery facility, the organization is not well equipped to handle out of the ordinary events, such as a patient who collapsed earlier today at the front door and resulted in an unnecessary level of confusion and the patient remaining on the ground for much longer than necessary. I would not recommend this location until all construction is done, and even then, our family will not be coming back here. As an example of excellence, Baptist East in Louisville provides much higher level of care, concern for patients and families and communication.

This is an excellent facility as a substitute or n place of, for the Hospitals. It stays, almost every visit I come here for, stays almost perfectly Clean-Spotless almost. The nurses & people who work for this clinic, are VERY helpful...with pretty much anything, youd ask 4. My Doc, the only 1 I could speak for, its very good-excellent even. Hes like, a partner here/or part of the partnership, that owns this Med Cntr. but hes humble so you couldnt tell it. Bathrooms clean, fresh coffee &, soft drinks, with vending machines. BUT, O like the ROOMS the best. If single our double occupancy, theres adequate space, each, & the room Im n has lounging chair & long couch, for pts frnz/fam. But is set up for single bed & for the appointment Im scheduled for. Thnx, sorry so long, just lots to tell u.

My wife had surgery here. Per surgery was great. Everyone was very kind, but after the surgery was the worst service I have ever seen. The nurse was very districted about some personal matter. Felt very rushed to leave, seemed like we were what was keeping her from going home. My wife was not given the care she should have got in post surgery. They also said the would call in a prescription; if you are reading this...we are probably still waiting for that to happen. If you are told to go here ask if there is another place they can send you.

Had a procedure here that did not go as planned. My husband had to threaten to sue if they discharged me in the shape I was in. Apparently no doctors on site for complications. Ended up staying over night, but this too was a mistake as they did not have enough staff. After finnaly being able to hold my head up I was given a frozen dinner, as thats all they have. Dont go here, I never will again.

Dont go if you have allergies. My sister took her husband there for a procedure but only after checking with the MD office to assure that the Center does not use any perfumes or air fresheners. She was assured that they do not, but they do. As a result of the exposure, she will be sick for days. If they cant be trusted to get this right then what else may be wrong?

Terrible - the nursing staff was very good, - BUT there were no Doctors available during my over 24 hour stay; not even to check me out before release. I was told there would be a doctor on the premises, NOT! I am still in recovery 7 months later from that Surgery and no subsequent care on site at P.M.C. Rev. W. D. Zerby Lanesville

This is the very best most professional staff. Everyone at pmc works hard to provide the best, safest, most comfortable care around. If you need an out patient surgery it is the place to be. I know I wont go anywhere else.
