Avoid this hospital like the plague!!! They screwed up my medical chart horrible for my outpatient surgery. My daughter had her full term son there and they kept him from her for no reason. While she delivered, there were 4 nurses in the room and my son-in-law and I had to help hold my daughters legs up because the nurses were scrambling so badly, they dropped them. One nurse couldnt get the computer started. Another stuck my daughters wrist 10 times and couldnt get an IV in, they finally gave up. We told the nurses she would be breastfeeding and not to give him a bottle and was told they would if they wanted to. They ran test after test on the child and found nothing wrong with him all the while my daughter was worried sick about him for what? They would only let her feed him for 15 minutes and burp him for 3 minutes for the first 10 hours of his life. They wouldnt let him stay in the room with her and we were told that he could be monitored better in the Nursery. As I was leaving, I walked by the nursery, he was laying bundled in a blanket, no monitors connected to him, no warming lamp, nothing! The nurse in there with him had her back to him while she was sitting at a computer. The pediatrician actually told my daughter "We dont want you to hold him to long" the day he was born. I could go on and on with details but bottom line: They seem incompetent not accommodating at all! They are rude and have no respect for parents/patients wishes. They run test after test for no reason (which I guess is great if you enjoy large bills and being practiced on!).

Like everything it just depends on the doctor you get. One in particular will make my wife feel like she is a second class citizen, and I have watched this doctor berate ER staff and EMS staff in front of everyone. My wife has been sick several years and at some points they have done well, others they send her home just to come back to get admitted to either their hospital or another. This doctor I am referring to sent her home in DKA because the doctor claimed my wife wanted pain meds. It is all about respect. On the flip side they do have very good doctors that although may have pre conceived connotations due to false information perform their job in a very respectful manner.

They dont even veiw me as a person. They only see me as an annoyance. I have multiple serious health issues diagnosed by specialist. I always consult my doctor or my insurance nurse helpline before I go out there. I only go when I am told I need to. I dont want to be there as much as they dont want me there. I have only met very few I can count on one hand staff who treat me like I am a person not annoyance they want to get rid. I know I am young but I do legitimately have alot of health issues. No one should be treated the way I am treated there. I just want to be treated like a human being that is all I ask.

Thank you Beth Beard and Lavonne Schuyler!!!!!You guys are awesome and so friendly and caring.. I had 3 ct scans done today with contrast. I am usually so anxious while getting test done, but I was really relaxed and trusted these gals. I also had an x- ray last week and was treated with much respect, thanks Ron. The imaging department at HCMH rocks!!!!!

They treat you like you are lying. Then while getting discharged my BP was 160/110 and they let me go home that way when I dont have a history of high blood pressure

I waited for over 4 hours trying to figure out if I was having a second ectopic pregnancy. They treated me like I was a bother to them.
