This hospital has went way down hill. There family doctors are just as bad, they dont really care about there patients, all they care about is themselves and covering there own back sides. If you have an opinion or tend to speak your mind this is not the place to go, they will black ball you for speaking your mind or giving an opinion. They play the system. If you are in chronic pain , dont come here. They will play you to a capital T! Guaranteed . They use this new law to get out of helping the people they sworn to help as ( Doctors) . Instead they play God with you. Me, Im not liked here at all, I have had spinal stenosis for the past 5 years and yes it is extremely painful , I was getting a certain pain med and it worked, as long as I didnt run out, I went from 150 tabs a month at just about every 4-4 1/2 hours which in my case worked great for me , ( my body would definitely let me know) . This new law passes about level 2 drugs moving to level 3 and then all of sudden the people that are legitimately needing them for pain relief / control was treated like common druggies. I didnt take to kind to this. Well anyways, I finally got what my wife and I had always believed was a wonderful doctor ( we were seriously wrong!) Back , he downed my meds to 90 a month ! Seriously? Well anyways, after a year or more my wife and I had an med check appointment, Keep in mind that I just got my script for my pain relief 17 days prior to this appointment. The visit went great, to mine and my wifes surprise, he as in the Doctor, handed me another script for my pain meds ( same ones) which I thought ok hes going to write them because 90 tabs is a 15 day supply , I didnt think anything about it because of course I was extremely happy, this means that I wont be in pain for the last 2 weeks of almost every month, well this went on for a couple of months, well my wife and I had another med check this month on the 14th , my wife and I thought he was acting kind of weird, but we assumed he had a lot on his mind , everything went good, at least thats what we thought, a week and a half later I called in my script, come to find out this doctor that we had thought of so highly played us , he said we ( I) took advantage of him? All I did was call in my pain relief script. He signed them and I filled them, so the moral of this lengthy review is, dont go to Sturgis hospital or there affiliates or family doctors because eventually you will be black balled and blamed for things you didnt do. Thank you for reading this and I hope it helped.

I had a very good experience with this hospital when I was stuck up there for three days. There was a very caring staff and I had a very good doctor. They treated me the way I wanted to be treated, gave me directions regarding my condition while I was staying there and I followed their advise which helped me get better and out of the hospital sooner. If I had to go to the hospital again, I would hope it would be with them because they treated me so well

More of the typical outrageous and unethical billing practices you would expect from a hospital. Which is pretty laughable considering the place is old and falling apart. Is it too much to ask for to find a hospital that has transparent and reasonable fees! Sturgis Hospital is not one of them.

Cold not have been happier. Close to home. Didnt have to drive out of town for this surgery, check ups, or follow up visits. Top rate doctor. Nurses are well seasoned, with years of experience. On a scale of 1-100. I give it a 99
