This was one of the best hospital experiences I ever had. The nurses and medical staff did a great job on the tests required and took great care of me. I even wrote the hospital administrator a letter about my great experience. Then the hell began. No good letter to the admin goes unpunished. My first bill was wrong because the hospital filed the claim wrong. I paid it, not knowing any difference. Three months later the hospital filed a false duplicate claim to try to get more money and asked me for an additional three thousand dollars. I got a personal call from the admin assistant correcting the situation, until a month later when I got another incorrect bill and now the hospital started charging me late fees. I assumed I would be turned over to collection. After filing a complaint with the BBB, I got a refund of most of the money I had paid five months earlier with no explanation. I never got a refund for the late fee they charged me. The administration of this hospital is so bad, I would stay away. I feel they will do anything to try to get more money out of you and threaten you with late fees if you dont pay up. Go to Louisville to a hospital that has a real billing department. I never got a reply to my BBB complaint or any explanation of why they billed me over and over. Humana told me this is a problem they have with this hospital. I figure any day I will go to the mail box and find another bill with yet another late fee on a bill I did not owe.

I went there for my routine checkup. As per their instructions I arrived 20mins. before my appointment to fill out my New Patient form. After waiting for nearly 20 mins in lobby they called me in. They measured by BP and weight and left me there to wait in the room. When after 1/2 hr. no one showed up, I asked them that how much more time will it take and they said all the Drs. are busy and she doesnt know how long will it take. Even after 15 mins (more than 1 hr. after my actual appointment) no one showed up. When I asked them that why its taking that long and they said its pretty normal. 1hr wait is pretty normal, really?? I just cancelled the appointment and requested my money back. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF.

I went in for a cut on my finger that required stitches. When I finally got put in a room after waiting about 10 minutes in the waiting room. I had waited for 3 hours in my room. Once the doctor came in he immediately looked at it and got started with the stitches. Then after he was finished I noticed he didnt even stitch me up correctly my cut wasnt stitched shut I just had stitches on the outer areas of the cut. The doctor had to have been smoking something. DONNOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!

Went in for multiple burns on the hand, sat in waiting room for 1 hour, and then went into shock because they were taking so long and the pain was so bad. They said that would still have to wait for a little bit!!Then when I get into the room it took another hour for a doctor to see me and another 35 to 40 untill i got released!! This place is a joke, i have never seen a hospital that took this long and was so disrespectful.

I went there for pain due to a condition that I have had for several years. I wanted to make sure that my organs were healthy and unharmed. The PA that was assigned to me was very rude and did not care about my concerns. She ordered an x-ray. With my condition an x-ray tells you nothing. She said it looked fine and sent me home. Im still in severe pain and will have to go elsewhere for treatment.

I broke my leg severally was looking at foot amputation in 2012. The E.R staff was tremendous, very very good and very kind. The surgical team proved to be amazing as well, my leg and foot were saved. Staff on the floor as well did super, very nice!!!!

My Husband had a massive heart attack Christmas Day 2016.....JHS ER staff was absolutely amazing and very instrumental in saving his life!

I hate this hospital. Worst staff you could think of. If you or your family ever gets sick to to Kosair or Nortons not this hospital
