Brought my husband to the ER when he was feeling quite ill and was told by the woman up front there would be a 2 hour wait despite the empty waiting room at 2AM. We looked at eachother and agreed to go to his family physician at Schneck family care in the morning to avoid the discomfort of waiting two hours under fluorescent lights in stiff chairs. Almost an hour after returning home my husbands eyes roll back in his head and he collapses. 911 sends an ambulance and both EMTs decide he is on drugs I guess because of him being only 27? When we get to the hospital the woman who was up front is trying to get my very much out of it husband to sign release forms and saying "whats the matter? Thought you were going to go to Schneck?" She says it in a sing song baby voice and is obviously making fun of him! She even mimics his moaning!! Im so stressed that I hardly register this as Im hyper focused on my partner. Turns out he had severe food poisoning and needed two bags of saline solution and was given dilaudid. By the time we left it was daylight and the same woman at the front desk said "hope you come back really soon!" with a big smirk. We were so shaken by his treatment that when I fractured my ankle he begged me to go to the Madison ER 30 miles away and I didnt put up much of a fight. Oh yeah... While we were there they insisted on testing his urune for blood and when he couldnt immediately produce a sample was threatened with a catheter. When he asked if it would hurt the nurse laughed in his face.

This place is noting but a bandaid station.. I came here in 2007 when I had a golf cart accident, and my toe was fractured and broke and I waited 15 minutes and my dad cussed them out and we left. And today my fiancées mother is here and shes been here since 1pm in the triage room in the emergency room part and around 6pm they said she would be admitted and they are getting her in a room, and it is now 7:34pm went up to ask when they were and it was "waiting to be cleaned" it shouldnt take a hour or so to clean a room. Shes hurting and in pain she shouldnt have to wait that long when shes freezing and they give her something that looks like a damn baby blanket. I will NEVER be back to this place again. We will from now on be going to Schneck in Seymour. There has been one nurse who has helped her since weve been here. Other then that the nurses have done nothing. I asked for her a blanket around 7:20 and they still havent got her one. Thanks Scott county on showing us we cant rely on you. I hope to never be brought here if theres something wrong with me.

I give this place a 2 simply because of the professionalism of the business office. My husband had a 24 hour heart moniter which his Dr. requested it at Scott Memorial because he could get it done faster than our local hospital. The staff that did this acted like this was the first one that they had ever done. Told him to go about his normal routine. 3 hours later he had to go back and have it reapplied. The electodes fell off, And they charged us an outrageous price. Never will I go back to this hospital. Then they made an agreement for a certain amount per month on the bill and even though we didnt miss a payment turned our payments over to a billing company. Took me about a year to straighten that out. When I called today to check on balance they had. Finally I came up with a knowledgble person in the billing dept. Heard they had a take over since we were there. It seems to have made a difference in this dept. Can only hope there medical skills have improved.

The doctor, Cook I believe, was able to diagnose and treat my swollen leg from three feet away, without removing the bandage from the wound, and he accomplished this astonishing feat of modern medicine in less than 2 minutes! If all doctors could do this we could do away with most hospitals and then using this nearly superhuman ability treat most patients via phone, web, or maybe just telepathy! See we could fix the health care system, all you have to do is go to "Dr." Cooks seminars on modern medical procedures and practices from "a far". Just so you dont think I am claiming that the lack of care was because of a prejudice; the only profile I fit is middle class, insured, and American!

I havent been in several years because of the poor treatment in the past but I heard it had improved and I had a serious health concern and so I went to the ER a few days ago. I know that it was not necessarily an immediant emergancy but it was something I felt deserved more attention. I am not an addict looking for a fix but dr. Croasdale treated me as such and basically told me to go somewhere else to have a unexplainable knot on my leg looked at. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO YOUR HOSPITAL UNLESS IM UNCONCIOUS AN NOT GIVEN A CHOICE. THE WORST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER RECIEVED. I GIVE IT 0 stars.

Horrible!!!!! I set with my 3 year old pooring stuff out of her ear for over three hours without even seeing a doctor. Never seen such a poorly ran facility......especially when the er isnt even busy!!! People should not have to pay for this kind of service......I wont be....please take me to court!!!!

I owe the life of my father to Dr. Pace and the staff at Scott County Memorial Hospital. They may be small, but they are mighty. We had excellent care and consideration. Im glad we didnt transfer Dad to a metropolitan hospital because it was "bigger"...it couldnt have been better!

They have most imagining and lab work you could ask for and a decent emergency room. They will not give pain medicine unless you absolutely need it so dont try

This place was a joke when I was a child, they still are. Apparently my records were destroyed. Ok. The lady who told me this was very rude.
