As a grad student whose eyes have taken a beating over the past few years, I am so glad to have found Dr. Wolfe. By far one of the best optometrists Ive ever encountered, Dr. Wolfe has always shown great concern for me as a patient. He listens my litany of concerns and performs tremendously thorough examinations, not only considering my current ocular health but also anticipating future issues. Also, Dr. Wolfe has an extensive knowledge of his field, often citing recent research in optometry or new eye care innovations when I go in for my exams. Dr. Wolfe truly cares about providing outstanding health care for his clients, and I could not recommend him more highly.

Dr. Wolfe and the Discerning Eye staff are excellent! I have been a patient there for the last five years and it would be more if I wasnt moving out of state. Dr. Wolfe did a great job making me feel comfortable as a patient and he was always available to answer all of my questions. I loved I was always able to be seen on my schedule and never experienced long waits. The staff at DE are welcoming and were always helpful when it came to finding new frames. I would recommend Dr. Wolfe to anyone because you can tell that he truly cares about your eye health and your patient experience.

Dr. Wolfe and Discerning Eye are great! Dr. Wolfe is accessible, gentle and personable. He also clearly stays on top of research in his field, which he explains in very clear ways. The shop stocks a wide and very cool selection of glasses frames and the staff who help you choose one are very helpful. Last time I was in I also got a free pastry, which has nothing to do with eye care but was a nice touch indicative of the extra care everyone at Discerning Eye puts in.

Ive been a client of Dr. Wolfes for about 5 years now, and he has prescribed multiple pairs of glasses, sunglasses, and contacts to me. I especially appreciated his help when I transitioned to contacts; he took time to consider my lifestyle and made a few recommendations (which I received free samples of!) based on that.
