Whylie Eye Care Center and their staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. They were able to provide me with as smooth of a transition as possible from another eye care center that I had a bad experience with. The front desk workers were extremely helpful in sorting out my new insurance policy to make sure that everything was covered. The eye doctor himself seemed to provide me with useful information while giving the evaluation. I always like to know the process and why things work a certain way, and he was able to provide answers to my questions in a very helpful way that I could understand. I plan to return to Whylie Eye Care Center for my next visit, and would refer them to anyone. Ive also heard that their location in Ankeny is great, but hadnt been able to go because its a bit too far away for me.

The optometrist didnt introduce himself; no one mentioned his name while I was there. The eye exam was certainly not as complete as it should have been. I wasnt asked about getting an exam for my contacts until the very end when I was already out of the exam room and it was too late. I had concerns about my eyes that were not addressed. I almost wonder if I even saw a real optometrist. Im now going to have to make another appointment to have my exam redone somewhere else.
