Awesome Experience!! Havent been in years since my last dentist retired. Resulting in an emergency visit to East Wichita Dentist Clinic. They scheduled me in right away as my pain was 10+. This place is a first class clinic! Upon arriving, I was greeted by Gaby and given a short tour of what they had to offer, insuring that everything was done in house with the latest technology. I had to have a root canal done so this was nice to know that my crown was not going to a foreign office to be molded! Luckily, I got Dr. Koepsel to rescue my tooth! Dr. K and Gabby professionally explained all and every scenario that could be done with my tooth before any procedures were done, this was important to me because it was my first. I am so fortunate to now have a clinic that is gonna look out for me and be equipped to handle any situation in house! Dr. K is professional and concise and best part is he is not retiring anytime soon he will be there for my dental needs for years to come! My smile has never been brighter and my bite has never been stronger! Thanks Dr. K and staff for all your loving professional care! It really shows in the work that you do! Also if your lucky you will get a TV to watch during your visit! Thanks again see you at the next check up! -Jimmy

This is the worst Place. They are very unprofessional especially the receptionist. I took off work which is not easy for me to do. I gave them my insurance information and made the appointment two weeks in advance my son is also in preschool and I had to call him in for today. Because they said I would probably be there till this afternoon or evening. when I got there after driving all the way from Maize Kansas the receptionist decides to tell me they dont accept my insurance I asked her isnt there somebody who could have called me or told me because I do have two types of insurance one and which covers everything and the other which only covers 50% of anything I need done so the one that covers 50% is the one they will accept I asked her at time of making the appointment to let me know if they did not take both insurance and she did not I was very upset and now have to wait even longer to get my teeth done do to somebody who couldnt pick up a phone I would not recommend this place to anybody especially because the receptionist is very unprofessional and very immature and should not be in the position she is in when dealing with the problem you do not get an attitude or be rude over something you are at fault on

We came to East Wichita Dentist in the midst of a crisis. My wife experiences extreme anxiety at just the thought of visiting a dentist, and we had never before found anyone who could meet us where we were to get the help she needed. I have never encountered a more helpful, genuinely friendly, and deeply caring group of medical professionals in my entire life. Everyone in their office is phenomenal. Theyve sent us cards, congratulations, and have made my wife actually glad to see them, and to make and keep her appointments in spite of her lingering anxiety. I dont know what to say about our experience at EWD. I know my wife would have died if we had not found them, and I will always be grateful to them. Readjusting to normal, to not having to rush to the emergency room every few months, to being able to share a meal of real food and not super-processed garbage...its so strange, and unexpected, and good. The incredible pain my wife was in day after day, every hour, every minute, had slowly robbed her of energy and time and happiness. Dr Koepsel and the amazing people he works with at EWD changed everything for her and for our family. Thank you so, so much.

Had a literally rough experience with this place. They had a partner dentist, I know its common, but its real a let down. The partner was suppose to give and fit me with a new crown. After thinking the mold/impression session went smooth, the partner dentist got the measurement wrong somehow not once, but 3 times! And while trying to jam and grind the new crown on each time, it felt like he didnt seem to care that I could feel all of it. Ive had crowns in the past and dont remember having to be numbed to put the new permanent crown on. To keep things short, it took this place 4 visits for 1 crown and the primary dentist still didnt even get it right. I also got a letter in between visits that they fired the partner dentist because of his unprofessionalism, which isnt a shocker, because it felt like I was the first person hed ever done the procedure on. They were professional in sending me that letter and for trying to continue to make things right, but a lot of times in the health care profession, mistakes and 2nd chances arent worth the time, money, or personal well-being.

First off, let me just start out by saying that I have never been a huge fan of going to the dentist office. Who is? With that being said, when I walked into East Wichita Dentist I was completely nervous, but welcomed by a lovely staff. The service that I have received by the dentists, hygienists and the office staff has been amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I am so pleased with this office that my whole family will soon be going there as well. I have been in the office numerous times in the past few months and I have yet to have any complaints. Dr. Fankhauser, Dr. Koepsel and Dr. Chambers are great dentists that have your best interests in mind and along with their staff, they really want to get to know you. I would recommend anyone that is needing dental work done to definitely give them a call.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Fankhauser! I HATED going to the dentist before going to Doc. He makes sure it is a comfortable environment and makes sure there is no anxiety. I have been going to him for about 10 years. I started out seeing him for TMJ and then moved completely to him for all my dentistry needs. He is a perfectionist which is a great thing when it comes to my teeth! :) My hygienist is wonderful as well. She keeps close tabs on any changes happening and keeps my best interests at heart. I most recently saw one of his associates, Dr. K. Honestly, I was nervous about seeing someone other than Doc, BUT I trust Doc, so I gave it a whirl. I must say that I give Dr. K. and Roxie, who assisted, my blessing as well! I loved both of them and they did a great job!

When I came to East Wichita Dentist in the summer of 2014 last year I had a serious problem with a tooth my previous dentist of 17 years was unable to properly diagnose and treat. Within 5 minutes of looking at my x-rays Dr. Fankhauser was able to diagnose the problem and provide the proper course of treatment. If I had not went to East Wichita Dentist when I did, I very likely would have lost that tooth. I have since then made Dr. Fankhauser and East Wichita Dentist my new primary dental care. I have had several visits and procedures since then and each visit has been a positive one. The entire staff goes the extra mile to make you feel valued and comfortable. Their facility has some of the latest dental technology in Wichita.
