Worst place ever went in 2 weeks ago with a smashed hand they did x Ray and never said what the state of my hand was. soaked my hand in hydrogen peroxide left me in the room with my wound open, said Doc would be in soon to take a look. waited about 5 hours for doc to come look at my hand, he never showed up, nurses only checked up on me about 2 times the whole time I waited. when I decided it was enough wait time I took the ivy out and grabbed my shoes. thats when one of the nurses came in only to explain she wasnt my nurse and didnt understand why I never even had a nurse assigned to me. And she really didnt understand why the doctor never came in to see me but she was going to wrap it up and discharge me, I refused because I felt like i was only treated that way for being a Hispanic female. so I left the hospital and went home, a week later pain continued so I visited The Medical Center only to find out my hand was fractured. What bothers me the most is they acted as if the services provided were going to be free and mind you I have insurance I pay for monthly just like millions of other Americans!

Its sad that America is supposed to be the greatest country in the world and the richest. But we have sub par facilities and doctors and nurses who dont care about their patients. If you work in the healthcare field you should have a passion for your job and compassion for all your patients. Well they dont have either here. My son had a really high fever and was shaking, twitching and almost passed out on a few occasions. So I took him here and they acted like I was stupid for bringing him in. Really unprofessional and rude. Its funny they rush when they are tending to you, but take their time getting back to you. We were there 4 hours just to take one quick blood test and a quick x Ray. And they were done in the first hour. So waited 3 hours just for them to discharge us with a antibiotic. Then the pharmacist had to call them back because the prescription they wrote didnt make sense. Wish we had a good hospital here like Vanderbilt. This place is ridiculous

I have been hospitalized there with a knee replacement, and was impressed with this hospital care. I did wonder why they also dont have a bigger Physical Therapy Dept though. The food, the care, otherwise was great. I also have been to the ER twice this last week due to an infection in my foot and leg. We did not have to wait very long at all. And the nursing staff and drs. there were very knowledgeable and quick to treat me, and then when I came back, as I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic, even ordered more tests and labs to be more thorough, and then gave me a new antibiotic with IV, before sending me home with the RX. Always got a followup call from them the next day, checking up on me.

My wifes grandmother was admitted a month ago. Her O2 levels were low, and the desk was getting a different reading than the room too...the desk person said they were adequate. They werent. Come to find out they didnt even have her mask on...this was after being there for a WEEK. Clots? What clots? We made the decision to transport to Vandy, thank goodness. She had a clot in the artery above both lungs, blocking flow. Greenview never saw these, and despite our continual pressing on her deteriorating condition, they insisted she was GETTING BETTER. Her arm was even turning purple (another clot previously not found).

During recent total knee replacement surgery, I had a very positive experience. This was especially true of the 11 days I spent on the 4th floor - Transitional Care Unit. Head nurses Kathy, April, Sarah and CNAs Susan, Linda and a couple more whose names have escaped me were especially kind, patient, and most helpful. I couldnt have ask for anything else from them. I feel their caring spirit got me started on a most excellent recovery. Food services were very helpful with getting me whatever I thought I could eat very fast.

My husband and I were in Kentucky for a weekend trip. He had a kidney stone, and we needed to visit an ER in an unfamiliar town. I am a veterinarian, and he is a chemist. We were both very happy with the level of care he received! The staff was knowledgeable, and very kind! He received prompt care, pain meds arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and his diagnostic testing was performed quickly and results were available faster than we anticipated. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Truly the worst hospital experience of my going to hospital. The techs are great. Lilah and others, great. I am truly sorry you have to work there. Doctor staff is mainly worthless as well as nursing. I hope there is something I can do to deter others from having a less quality of life because of this hospital. Jill, leader of nurses was condescending and dishonest, I suppose that is why the hospital is pathetic.

This emergency room is joke. Cant believe that they took blood with no gloves on hands. Dr opened door said you are ok and disappear. Hour and 15 minutes nobody didnt open door to see how is patient injured in car accident. Nurse shows in room and said you have to do x-try even they already did that hour ago. I hope you will have no chance to be in this emergency room ever.

I went here to the emergency room for breathing problems. I was diagnosed on two different occasions with bacterial pneumonia. I actually had a fungal lung infection. A blood and urine test could have found this. Although i was never treated for what i actually had, the staff was very nice and professional.

I was hospitalized with an aggressive form of pneumonia and they were able to figure out what kind it was and treat it. The doctors were very knowledgeable in their fields and the nurses provided top notch care. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to go to the hospital.

The staffs hands are tied because if you ask one person that is in the room to do something other than what they are doing....they say Oh I dont do that. Sounds like this hospital needs to get in the 21st century. Wow the way the nurse spoke to my mother wow. How disrespectful.

I give it a 5 star always been my hospital of choice but as of being in here now with my fiancee i will never come back during day time with how the staff treats there patients. Go to med center during the day but night staff is still awesome here at greenview no bad experiences.
