Rudest staff in the ED department: My father passed away from a heart attack at this hospital and they gave me a call early in the morning when my phone was off. When I finally called back I was transferred three times because no one wanted to tell me the news. Finally a nurse decided to speak to me and she simply said "your father is dead." And I was crying of course but through my tears asked what to do next and all she said was in this snarky voice, "maam I cant understand you." I WAS SOBBING BECAUSE YOU TOLD ME 30 SECONDS AGO MY FATHER DIED!!! The lack of compassion with this nurse ensured I will never go to a St. Elizabeth facility in my life.

This St Elizabeth is just like all others. Extremely unhelpful staff, lack of communication,etc. Dont get me wrong, my doctor at this location is pretty solid. My problem is with the office staff. They have no idea whats going on nor do they care. A short explanation of my current "issue" with them would have done fine. Instead it was drawn out over a 5 day period.. Just like every other time..

Its horrible in my point of view. The nurses talk more about other stuff instead of attending there patients. Im in the ER right now and its the worst experience ever i rather be at sampson reginal medical center in clinton NC better than here bc here thay make you wait a life time to come attend you. I wish thwy well get better nurses in this hospital soon.

I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDE IN A HOSPITAL IN MY LIFE!!! I WENT TO ST.E BECAUSE I HAVE HYPOTHYROIDISM . Dr. Patterson is wonderful, but the front office staff is so horrible and unprofessional, it is almost not worth it to get to him. Rude and condescending, refusing to schedule at times.
