Not what id hoped for I board my dog regularly at Uptown. My dogs shots were to expire soon around my next boarding and Kim (thumbs up) recommends I have this clinic do it on site while my dog was in their care. I called the vet office to arrange it and get more info. The man that answered the phone treated me like I was ordering a pizza and cut me off multiple times during the conversation. It made me feel that if he didnt want to listen to me, why was he answering the phone? And if that office has someone manning the phones that doesnt care about listening maybe they dont care about taking care of my dog or my business which is very disappointing since Uptown is so great and this vet office really would have been a much more convenient option for me. All he had to do was show some interest in me as a future customer and not rudely repeatedly cut me off.

The rating should be less than one star. Vet is fine but staff is so incompetent, it is dangerous. They gave my dog the wrong medication several times. Medication that is dangerous for her. She has a history of liver cancer. She also has arthritis. The doctor prescribed hylaronic acid injections. I went in each month to get the medication. I asked specifically for the medication. The staff gave her Adequan instead. The manufacturers of Adequan (and everybody else) say that Adequan should not be given to dogs with liver disease. My dog now has a mass in her liver again. Thats just one thing.

This is a great place to take your pets. We have taken our pets to Veterinary Wellness Center for many years and have always received top notch care. Dr. Johnson is a very caring Vet and an amazing Surgeon. The staff is wonderful and will bend over backwards to make your loved ones feel safe and comfortable.

This clinic is fantastic. It is obvious that Dr. Johnson and the staff of VWC genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Johnson is knowledgeable and experienced, and has always put such time into caring for my dog. I trust this clinic completely and will continue to be a client here for as long as possible.
