Reluctant to answer questions, or provide any reasons why she chose a treatment plan, how do disease proccesses work, drug actions, etc. One specific case, did not seem to want to discuss if an older more established drug would be an ok alternative when looking for a more cost effective drug. Q:"Should we stay on this current medication, or are there other medicines in this category that have a similar makeup that are known to be just as effective?". A:something like " I dont know, everyone is different, well just have to try something else. Just get me a list from the insurance company." That may be a perfectly valid yet short answer, but the other drugs in this category seemed to have the same active ingredients which had been available for decades, the main differences being the inclusion or type of sustained release composition. What is sustained or extended release maybe? Thankfully Web MD was able to provide some helpful background information. Also had an incident where Dr. wrote a script for one drug, but recorded another in the chart. A telephone based refill request to the Dr.s office resulted in the "wrong" or different med. We checked with the Pharm and they reviewed the scanned copies of the script and they filled the correct med. When I called the Drs office, they were initially unwilling to re-write the script or research the discrepancy. When I picked up the new script, Dr. Reyes was unwilling to explain which med would be the best between the one recorded in the medical record or the one actually on the original script, basically asking me to explain why I was asking for the wrong med, proudly displaying what was written in the chart. Like I just tricked the pharmacy into filling the wrong prescription?

There arent many choices for immigration medical exam doctor in Louisville so I had to visit her office several times for immigration related matters. Her office, everytime I have visited, have been one of the most disorganized office Ive been to. The wait at minimum has been an hour, the male nurse doesnt speak English well and difficult to understand, the doctor seems nice but she does not seem competent enough as a family doctor. The front desk lady is very rude and horrible attitude, except for Shanika who has been at least pleasant to deal with. I felt uncomfortable asking questions and everytime I had to visit their office, even if it was just to sign and pick up paperwork, Ive had to take entire afternoon off due to outrageous waiting time, which could have been remediated if they were more organized. I would not pick her practice to be my family doctor, however if youre looking for immigration medical doctor, there arent many choices, just expect a long wait and rude staff if you inquire.

My entire family has been going to Dr. Reyes since 1997 when we moved her from San Diego. We have never been treated with such compassion and honesty as we did with her. Her office staff is wonderful, carrying and always willing to help us in getting us in for immediate appts. and picking up prescriptions. I dont understand how anyone can say the horrible things they say about her office. She has a busy practice and you have to wait for "every single cardiologist, internist, surgeon, dentist" that you have to see for an appt. They are highly skilled physicians in whatever practice they have and that is why they are the doctors and have the degrees that they worked hard to get. I have sent her many of my friends and co-workers who absolutely love her and her wonderful staff. I would never go to anyone else but her.

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a doctors office. She was absolutely rude and did not listen to anything I tried to tell her. She literally told me it doesnt matter what I think. Listening to your patient is important for so many reasons. I do not think a doctor who does not listen can give proper medical care. I have an extensive history and some yet to be diagnosed health problems which cause me excruciating pain and having someone so callous truly upset me. I will NEVER go to that office again.

Best doctor I have been to. She is very compassionate and listens to you and all your concerns. She is a very caring person. Her office is always on the roll when it comes to appointments. If youre appointment is at 1:00, the longest you will wait is at least 15-20 minutes and you will be called in right away. Her wonderful staff, Shanika is very competent, fast and very reliable. Awesome doctor!!!

Miriam Reyes is a caring and compassionate person. My family (5 of us) has gone to her office since 2008 and have never been treated anything but courteously and professionally. I wish I would have read those coments above before. I wouldnt have taken my mother over there. I just had the worst doctor office experience ever. And yes, stuff is VERY RUDE, specially the blond girl at the desk, someone with absolutely no education. And the doctor is rude too.

Just just make you to sit for hours even after having a scheduled appointment to just collect my lab results. ..most disorganized office I have everseen. They just keep you on hold for more then half an hour every time u call their office. ..I will never prefer to come back here

The blonde hair girl at the first desk is rude to the people who call in. Slams the phone down and says smart remarks. They need a glass window so the patients sitting in the waiting room dont hear everyones business and test results.
