I love this office. Not recently. Ive been canceled multiple times due to no doctors, I understand things happen. No big deal, well then I come in for my appointment today and guess what? There is a new doctor there who COMPLETELY changes my work. First I was set to a full denture with full mouth removal of teeth. Well now, this new doctor says I can save my teeth? How is a doctor a week ago telling me no, now the new one says we can? Thats just confusing and now I dont even think I will continue my treatment because now I feel like this place isnt trustworthy. They just want my money. Not only was this frustrating but I was also in the office for 2 hours!! The consulter seemed confused herself. I ask for the doctors full name. After my terrible experience I go home to google these doctors to find out who to believe more, well the first thing that pops up is a huge article from the board of dentistry about a several year long court case about the dentist being an alcoholic and DUIs and falsely writing records and even writing narcotics to her boyfriend. Do you guys not check into this stuff? I do not wish to be contacted with a pity story as Id like to decide on my decision peacefully. Oh and not a surprise but during the whole ordeal, the office manger was in her office with the door closed, as usual. Christy never returns calls, never comes out of her office, and even when I called with financial needs, still no returned call. I had to eventually come in and let the front desk staff deal with the issue. I honestly dont know what to feel.

I am a very easy going person but my visit was a nightmare. first my teeth werent cleaned and it was my initial visit. I did have 19 x-rays taken in which Dr. Dunning I believe was his name preceeded to tell me I had 3 cavities and gave me recommendations. then I told him that I had a loose crown and he seemed very rushed and as if he didnt want to bother with it. so I had to remove the crown myself in order for him to recement it. afterwards I waited an hour for him to come back in there in which he was in such a hurry when he puts the crown back on(I dont understand why he put it back on without gluing it ) and then says I needed to wait another 20 minutes to get setup. 20 min. pass he comes in there in a rush again sits down and Jerks out my crown so hard that he cracks off a piece of my adjacent filling. I told him he needed to slow down in which he replied he didnt chip anything and hes been doing this for 18 years and doesnt need to be told anything about his slowing down. I would not recommend aspen dental on not just the basis of Mr. Dunnings arrogance, but also because I notice there were more than 10 patients there at once with only one dentist if thats what youd call him.

It felt incredibly impersonal. I had to reschedule my appointment a month after my original appointment, I am assuming because of a new hygienist. The new hygienist who used new techniques without explaining what was going on. I seem to always get more wet on my face and chest at this office than with any other hygienist, but that might be because of the new water pick technique. Second, I waited for 25 minutes for the dentists to check me out and then was told that it was "short and sweet". Third, it feels like I am being sold services like I am at a car garage. No, I dont want fluoride, its a neuro-toxin according to the WHO, please stop auto-charging me for it. If you want to charge someone for a service, ask them first. I had to ask why I was being charged. Lastly, this is at least the 5th email that I have gotten asking to do this survey. I didnt fill one out because I didnt want to write out the reason why I wont be coming back to Aspen Dental. However, your email frequency shows that you do want to get feedback on how bad of an experience I had.

I had not been to the dentist in about 14 years, and even then it was in the military so wasnt a good experience. I was terrified even walking into the door. The receptionist was helpful explaining paperwork questions I had. The X-ray tech was good, but seemed somewhat put off by my obvious distress. I was absolutely terrified to be there. I was actually shaking. When finished she led me to another chair. I found it very awkward that I was in a room with another patient. I waited some time for the hygienist. She was great. Even though I had pain, I will go back and ask for her. Then the dentist. He was also great. I will also be requesting him when I come back. Then office manager came in. She did well in explaining the procedure recommended, but was awkward. Im assuming it was because I didnt have insurance. Im 35 and havent had a need. I work for a company where I can easily add, or I can join my wifes. Either way Ill be back soon, but only because of the hygienist and dentist.

had to change my review after my second visit - BEWARE they have different doctors every week!! First doctor was great, second was TERRIBLE! Rigid/bumpy fillings left my bite uneven and he administered the wrong local anesthetic. When I called to ask why they didnt let me know they didnt even have a normal dentist in that office, they told me they just dont think its important to share - SERIOUSLY?! After I asked to meet with the original doctor to fix the problem the second one created, I was told he wont be back. Finally, I agreed to having a third doctor fix the problem, only to be told they could not schedule me for over a week!!

Normally am not one to review things. However I had an appointment scheduled for 7 pm last Thursday. They called me the day of to tell me they wouldnt have enough time to fill a crown that was already drilled and they canceled my appointment. THey told me they need 2 hours. I went today, and they kept me waiting 20 minutes after my 4 oclock appointment in the waiting room. It then only took them only 20 minutes to do the whole thing. I was out before the hour was even up. They lied. Not sure why but I dont want to do business with a company that cant be honest with their patients. The doctor was nice.

Staff was very nice and courteous. I had not been to dentist in many, many years. I was put at ease by staff. I did not care for how was treated when went to discuss options with office personel. I was given options but never given paperwork with breakdown of each service and what would be covered ect.. I would have liked to had all information so I could make informed educated decision and get most out of my insurance. Almost felt like I was buying a used car. I know they are there to make money, profit is not a bad word, but i felt very taken advantage of.
