I had two appointments yesterday, one for my 10 year old son and one for my 3 1/2 year old daughters very first exam/cleaning. Their appointments were at 2:30 and 3:00 respectively. We were there for a little over an hour. The kids were seen on time and were made to feel very comfortable. Michelle, the dental hygienist, did everything possible to make my little ones first visit fun and comfortable. While my little girl wouldn’t let her clean her teeth in the end, it was to no fault of Michelles. She did everything possible to accomodate my daughter. My little girl just wasnt ready. The staff was so patient, kind and understanding. I went ahead and even scheduled a "2nd" attempt in 6 months. The dentist was also wonderful and very good with both of my kids. She had an excellent disposition, provided wonderful insight into my sons future dental care needs (yippee!!! looks like no braces for him), and was very knowledgeable. Lastly, the front staff was friendly and accommodating. I am very happy with the service of Dental One Associates in Kennesaw, GA and I would highly recommend them.

Dentist was good, however front office experience was terrible. Hard to reach individual responsible for financial concerns. They required copay up front even if you have more than one dental coverage plan. They were paid by both of my carriers & it was still 6 months before I was reimbursed. I ,at one time ran the insurance end of a group Dental practice, so its not like Im not aware of insurance procedures. This office & their Main office, leave much to be desired in the way they handle patients with dual coverage. They dont even know how to open an industry standard PDF file! Plus when I contacted my secondary insurance carrier about being reimbursed, they told me they could not send the payment to me as there is a stipulation in their contract with the Dentists that says any & all payments must be sent to the Dentist, not to patients.

Being someone that has massive amounts of anxiety when going to a dentist for just a cleaning, I have to say Dental One Associates of Kennesaw handled my recent emergency situation with care and ease! The staff is amazing, very patient and understanding. They keep patients on schedule too, which is a breath of fresh air. Your appointment is at 9 am? You are being seen by the dentist at 9 am. That is a rarity! The dentist takes her time to talk through every piece of detail and LISTENS to your concerns, as well as answers all questions asked. I will continue to use this practice for all my dental needs and cannot say enough good things about them and my experience!

Staff was friendly! However I had 2 crowns put in. When they came in the were to big for my mouth and it was apparent. The color did not match or the shape and the put them in with out fixing them. One of the was s too tight and now shifting my teeth. One still hurts a year later. When I smile they stick out. I dont want to go back because I feel if they didnt care to make sure they look right the first time they wont the second time. Insurance will not pay for me to have another dentist to redo them so Im stuck with them for the next 8 years...and it cost $2700 for them. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I went in for a routine 6 month cleaning & was told they could not give me one because i needed a deep cleaning for over $400. I was also told I had a cavity which they would not take care of until i had paid them for the deep cleaning. I consulted another dentist for a second opinion. He told me that I had pregnancy gingivitis which is very common in pregnant and breast-feeding women and that I simply needed more frequent cleanings that most insurances cover. NOT a $400+ painful surgical procedure.

My appointment was at 4 and I waited almost 30 minutes before being seen. My hygienist was very nice but, I had to wait again to see the dentist. All in all, todays appointment took me about an hour and 15 minutes, just for a cleaning. Also, I knows it has been 6 months since I last visited the office but, apparently all the staff has turned over since my last visit. Nothing wrong with the new people, it was just odd. Dr. Oh, the new dentist, is nice and she was very friendly.

I have been with Dental One Associates for about 14 years and I have had great dental visits. They never try to push stuff on me that I do not want and they have always done a great job looking out for the health of my teeth. I have no complaints whatsoever. I recommend them to everyone I know. Even their Dental Discount program is way better than any Dental Insurance.

Let me tell you, this place is awesome! Mary, Alana, Tesha, and Dr Gessling always take care of me and my teeth (even when I dont take care of them like i should). Ive been going here for a few years and they always do a great job. If you are looking for a great dentist, then this is the place to go. You will love the service they provide!

This is the 3rd dentist that I tried when moving to GA almost 6 years ago and I vow never to use any other! Everyone at Dental One is amazing and knows you by name. I even had a routine appointment on my birthday once and they were so sweet that they gave me free teeth whitening kits on top of my normal toothbrush, paste, floss goodies!

Always have a great experience. Mary at the front desk is super sweet. They dont pressure you into doing anything. They let you know whats going on and ask what you want to do. Ive been going here for a few years now and so glad I found them. I spent 3 years looking for a dentist, found these guys and dont plan on leaving anytime soon!
