This was my first visit to Imagix and I have to say I was dreading it. Me and my wallet are afraid of dentists. My first interaction with them was over the phone, and they were polite and courteous. They were able to schedule me pretty quickly. In fact, they even called me to tell me of a cancellation that had opened up in case that worked better for me. I have to say, this was by FAR the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. The hygienist and her assistant (Christy and Cheryl) were so nice and thorough. I was very impressed. I met Dr. Larsen and he was really personable. You know how you talk to doctors, and you just know they arent listening to a word youre saying? He was doing the opposite. He was actually listening. I have to say that Lori was my favorite. This was for my return visit for a crown, which I knew I was going to need. My tooth was cracked. Lori was sooo gentle with me and kept asking if I was okay. Im a grown man. I give blood all the time. Needles dont bother me. Stitches dont bother me. The drill freaks me out. Dr. Larsen was great too. Im not saying I would go there on my day off to have another crown :) , but, if you have to have one, or any dental procedure, I would recommend Dr. Larsen and his associates. Also, I do not have the greatest dental insurance. In fact, im not eligible for assistance with things like crowns for an entire year, but, just by having an insurance that Imagix takes, my crown was cheaper than the one I paid for at my last dentist when i had Humana. **Addendum** I wasnt able to add another review, so I wanted to add that my wife also went here for a cleaning and had great experience. Also, they didnt even mention the deep-cleaning, much less try to pressure her to receive it, as some people are claiming. For the record, I did receive the deep cleaning because my gums are bad and I knew that already. But hers were not, and there was no issue. Also, there was some confusion with my bill, not due to any fault of DPV, but they were very helpful and patient in assisting me to reconcile it. Thanks again, DPV, and you now have two satisfied customers. We will be back!

Lets talk about the good...you will receive good dental care from individuals that seemingly care about your dental health. They are cordial and timely. Lets talk about the bad: Customer Service. Anyone that is not actually working on your teeth within this office DOES NOT GIVE AN S...about you.Believe me, you had better be up to the task of determining why your insurance deems a procedure necessary or not, and then you had better be prepared to FIGHT with Dental Professionals of Vinings about it. How many of you run a dental office? Okay...I can answer for myself and say that I dont. Yet as it was explained to me on the phone, I need to argue with my insurance company about what procedures are necessary and what procedures are not; "Its a shame that the insurance dentists are telling you what you need to have done." Really? Or is it your responsibility as my DENTIST to explain why you elected to perform that procedure for my benefit? If they have to resubmit a claim on your behalf...you have to call to find out the result. Me: "Okay, so after you resubmit the claim...is there any way that you can notify me of the result?" Dolores: "Ummm, no. You can call back in a couple of weeks. We have thousands of customers so we cant notify you of the result of your claim." If insurance denies a claim that Dental Professionals of Vinings tell you WILL be covered by insurance, they will not notify you directly. They will perhaps send you a bill in the mail a month afterwards and tell you that the procedure they said would be covered (they make you sign a piece of paper that states your understanding of the costs), was denied by your insurance. What will they do then? Theyll say pay me. I say, "What about the insurance company...you said they were going to pay for that?" PAY US. Thats their bottom line.

Where do I begin... Ive been to the office 3 times and each time the front desk had HORRIBLE customer service! The first visit I went on my lunch from work and waited in the lobby and waited and waited, only to be seen and wait even more. They only did Xrays this day because I spent 2 HOURS there and had to get back to work. I made another appointment to go back for a regular cleaning only to have them tell me some crap about NOT being able to perform my cleaning because they needed me to give them an extra $200 for a deep cleaning! And yes I have insurance. I have never had a Dentist tell me they couldnt clean my teeth because I needed a deep cleaning..(and nevertheless went to another dental office for them to say no I did not need a deep cleaning adn they cleaned my teeth just fine). So, right after my second appointment, I had an appointment for my 4y.o. daughter. It was an evening appointment which worked out great for my schedule. The dentist who performed the cleaning on my daughter was great but afterward said that my 4y.o. had ONE cavity. I dont think this was true but I said okay how much is it to Fill (a 4 year old who would be losing these teeth so it made no sense to me). The Dentist conveniently made an error and typed as if she had 2 cavities and it would cost $160! I questioned her and she apologized but at that point I was done with this office... PLEASE DONT WASTED YOUR TIME OR MONEY...BECAUSE ALTHOUGH YOU HAVE INSURANCE THEY WILL TRY TO SQUEEZE MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU! God bless...

The staff is not friendly but that is not a concern of mine what really concerns me is the lack of professionalism from the actual doctors for the simple reason of making money. I was told by one of the destists I need two crowns and also I was told by the Pareodontal Specialist that I need Osseo surgery in 4 quadrants, the total procedure would have cost me about $1800 out of pocket so they would have made a good chunk of money including insurance payments. Add to that they asked me to take x-rays twice in a 6 month period...for what? "Your insurance covers it so dont worry" i was told, well what about the radiation straight to my head people?? I couldnt get the treatment done because i didnt have enough days off at work and already had holiday plans scheduled out of the country but I decided to get a second opinion in the meantime just in case. I went to see 3 different dental professionals including a higientist, a pareodontal specialist (one of the best in Europe) and endodontist and i was told my doctors are out of their minds or perhaps suggesting I get something done for their own benefit instead of mine. It is extremely scary to think this people are looking at the business aspect of their practice only and not at the benefits and care of their patients but it is true I guess I can not trust them with my health and therefor I am making a change. Im not one to write reviews but I would not want this to happen to anyone because this is a scam.
