Terrible place. My dog was diagnosed with heart worm last year and Dr.Temm told us the procedure would cost the trail end of $3500.00 by the end of it... so my wife and I decided to move to MANN. We got the work done there with ending cost $1623.00 We still placed her shots with York County so they got their funds from us. This brings us to now... call today to get proof or rabies shots we called about 3 weeks ago to get mailed without anything being reviewed. When I called the secretary Cheryl was incredibly rude and said they faxed the info to MANN and to contact them even though they didnt do the work. Then rudely hung up on me. After talking to MANN who was kind, I was told it had to be sent through the vet who did it. So I proceeded to call and got Cheryl back. She was beyond rude at this point saying I couldnt talk on behalf of my wife, even though I knew for a fact that I was on the account and just sent me for a loop. This isnt how business should be run. Trust me, take your four legged family member to a vet with decent prices and a actual staff that cares for more than your money. Obviously here at York County Veterinary Hospital, these "professionals" care less about the pet, and more about their wallets... I mean to charge almost 2 grand more than thre competition with the exact same procedure? Trust me, go to MANN Memorial veterinary hospital. There much nicer, less expensive and just in Kennebunk not to far away.

Last year my dog was injured while playing on the beach on a Saturday morning. These kind folks not only took us right in, but treated us as well as they treated our dog. You need to understand we were typical tourists. These folks could so easily have taken advantage of us, but they didnt. We would have paid whatever was necessary to help our beloved dog, no questions asked. Instead our options were explained to us, and we left with a bottle of paid medication to give the dog a couple weeks of "wait and see", before we did something drastic and expensive. Everything worked out splendidly. We are so impressed with the York Count Vet, that we have actually made the 80+ mile trip to have our dog seen there for non emergency ailments you get with an old yellow lab. I cant say enough nice about these folks.

Dr. Temm is a thoughtful and caring veterinarian. He has a no-nonsense approach which means he will neither run up your bill with unnecessary tests nor does he provide cut-rate service and practice medicine that was state of the art during the 1980s. Dr. Temm is also an excellent surgeon capable of many surgeries that other general practitioners would have to refer to specialists. He uses the best anesthesia protocols and suture materials. Dr. Temm has performed several major surgeries for me on my dogs and repaired my cats broken leg. I trust his skill as a doctor and surgeon and his service is an excellent value for the money.

Dr. Temm is gentle and kind to all of his patients. You can tell he is a true animal lover no matter what type. From puppy to dog, kitten to cat or any animal that walks through his front door will receive his undivided attention and his years of experience to make sure your pet is taken care of. A true doctor that cares, his prices are reasonable for the quality of care you receive.

WARNING!!! do not go here if you love your pet !!!! I barterd some work for vet care for my blk lab that had a bad hip, Dr. [?] Temm operated on her and she never regained use of her leg .I had to have her leg removed by another vet and after 3 months had to euthanize her . DO NOT USE THIS VET !!!!!!

Best vet we have ever been to. We moved a few hours away but still make the trip up to York a few times a year! Dr. Temm is great. Smart and fair on prices! Highly recommend this vetinary practice!
