My dog Sable was digging in an old pit in my yard and severly cut her paw. She didnt yelp or anything she just came back and laid down under the porch. I wondered where she was and found her laying in a puddle of blood. My Dad freaked. He wasnt so good with blood. We loaded her into the back of the truck and took her to the vet. At this point they were remodeling and working outside in trailors...that didnt matter. They took Sable in right away. They bandaged her up and kept her overnight. The next day Sable had a blue cast on her leg and was as happy as ever. We were extremely please with the prompt attention they gave my little sister( she was my dads dog) She is now almost 9 and they say she looks like a 4 years old dog. VERY HEALTHY! Thanks Scarborough Animal Hospital! =)

After a horrible experience with another vet with one of my rabbits, I was given a recommendation for Dr. Ford. I have been bringing my three rabbits to him for over a year now and cant imagine going elsewhere. All three took to him right away. Dr. Ford and the rest of the staff at SAH are very down to earth, answer all my questions no matter how crazy they may seem, give fantastic advise and genuinely care about the animals they treat and their owners. I have recommended SAH to so many people and will continue to recommend them.

Our family bunny was sick and after looking at other reviews on Google I picked this place because it had the best score. Honestly they deserve a much higher rating. While the front office staff are obviously overworked, they still go out of their way to be friendly and nice. If you have an animal in the area you want to take care of and know the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring this is the place.

I have used Scarborough Animal Hospital for our pets for years. The vet and staff are very caring and will do whatever it takes to make sure your pet is being taken care of. One time, we had an emergency situation, the staff was quick to get us in immediately and treat our dog. We have nothing but positive things to say about Scarborough Animal Hospital.

Weve always had a great experience here! The docs and staff are all super friendly! Weve called so many times for silly things, and have always been treated kindly and gotten solutions to the problem at hand. Had our pup spayed last week, everything went swimmingly (minus keeping a lab puppy calm for over a week). Also, Dr Ford specializes in rabbits!

I brought my crazy pitty here for 3 years while I was stationed in Maine, and the staff there was just so good with her. Shes a special little creature and not for the faint of heart, but they took really great care of her. Scheduling was always a breeze, it seemed like I was able to get same day appointments almost every time I called.

Dr. Ford and all of his staff are amazing. You can see immediately the love and passion they share for all of the animals they care for. I took in my pregnant guinea pig and the experience was amazing. My dogs and cats also get fantastic care and are happy to be there. You will not be disappointed, best care for your pets in Maine.

Dr. Ford is an exceptional doctor! Your office is a fair distance from my house but I would not trust my bunny with anyone else. He is very caring and compassionate and the office prices are very reasonable. The office staff is excellent too! Please keep up the good work. I am very thankful to have found you.

Scarborough Animal Hospital staff treated our kitty with kindness and compassion. Dr. Matt Ford and his assistant Morgan came to our home to put our sweet Pepe to sleep and end his suffering. They were wonderful and treated him with great tenderness.

Scarborough Animal Hospital doctors go above and beyond providing excellent service. They have a separate entrance for cats and dogs which removes cat anxiety. The staff is so helpful and friendly, and they sell great kitty toys.
