Had to take my girlfriend for lab work. First time ever to Mercy. When I called the main number to find out where the lab was, all I was told was either main campus. I went to Fore River as that seemed easier to get to MMC after. There were two buildings. Went to the main on (not the Medical Building). They sent her to the other building. After waiting to be helped, they then told her she had to go to the main building to register and then come back to get the lab work done. Would be okay if she didnt have problems walking long and didnt have an appointment after. It just seems as though some Mercy employee would have been more helpful (such as the person in the main building, when asked where the lab was, should have recognized the person had never been there before and ask questions such as if it was their first time - "Yes? Then you needed to register first in this building!") Note: the Web site for the two main campuses lists laboratory, but neither us an actual link nor states what building to go into, hours, etc.

I got dropped off so I went there by accident because I was very sick I could barely walk I had a huge problem with my leg. It was all swollen up I could barely walk there was a lady there in one of the offices just a receptionist I stopped asking for directions to the bigger hospital she stopped what she was doing and imediately got a wheelchair and push me up a big hill to get to the other hospital and not too many people would do that but you know what they really are good people there my thanks to her i forgot your name but i wont ever forget you! Thank you and gd bless
