NEVER GO HERE! Youll be ignored, miss treated and then bill abuse. I moved here from tx. Ive been hearing from many locals to never go to this hospital. To go off cape. I now go to the hospital in hyiannis, or wareham. Review for Dec 2015 Ive never had such poor treatment at a hospital er. I went to the er with chest pain, trouble breathing, throwing up and fever. I was going to have surgery that day too. It was postponed. The rude doctor finally did an x ray and said I had pneumonia. I was offered a pain killer. I was hesitant cause pain killers make me sick. But I was in so much pain I did agree to it. Then the doctor changed his mind and said no. Then I found out he wrote I was a drug addict. Wtf!!! Just cause Im in ma doesnt mean Im a drug addict. I moved here from tx and never had such awful care! I had my doctors fax over my medical proving I am not such thing. I also relapsed due to the bad treatment. Went to a different er and got much better care. And then go ally had my surgery. I also had surgery here. I wanted it at the hospital in hyannis, but my doctor wouldnt do it there. My doctor that did the surgery was great. To bad the retired. The female anastasiolgist was amazing too. The first nurse that tried to do my iv blew my vains. The head nurse did the iv and did great. But the finical department is a joke. Ive had the sa e surgery in tx and it was $800. They charged me $2,000+. Ive been trying for months to work a payment plan and no one is ever around on the finical department. Im on a fix income and disabled. This is abuse. Ive never had such bad treatment. Ive tried to pay the bill and contest it. They screwed it up 3 times. I was promised they would revise the bill. I waited and they NEVER fixed it. I could of gone back to tx and had the same surgery for less. Now a rude collections agent is harassing me. Worst experience ever. If anyone has a lawsuit going for bill abuse, call me. I want to join.

Your Nurses and Drs are the backbone of any hospital, I was happy to read a few of your more positive reviews, esp. sighting two of your male RNs, unfortunately we had a completely opposite experience with one of your female ER nurses, when asked if she was an RN she replied yes, but would not give us her name. It is with great displeasure that we must bring forth this negative concern, her demeanor was more than unprofessional, her rudeness and lack of compassion is giving a bad reputation for your facility, one that I hear you are working diligently to improve. Hopefully you can identify her, give her some training or better still terminate a toxic staff member that destroys the efforts of the professionals you have on staff, I have written Supervisor Mr. Wetherbee with the specifics I didnt feel would be appropriate in this format....Sincerely, LMB

Ive been waiting in a room for over an hour and a half now. Im here due to sciatic nerve pain. Ive had this problem for 6 years. Back in october I came to this hospital 4 times in a week and they kept sending me home. Finally I came and the main ER doctor was like were going to do something about this. 2 weeks later I had a microdiscectomy. Im here now today having the same pain and I feel like Ive been forgotten about. I went out to ask where a bathroom was and the first guy I asked pretended he didnt hear me and rolled his eyes and then I asked a woman and she just rolled her eyes and pointed. Like Im sorry youre so miserable with your job and life but I need medical attention. Im a human being for gods sake. Avoid this hospital at all costs. Theyre rude and take forever to literally do anything.

Brought our 5 year old in Sunday morning when we noticed swelling and redness around a small cut on her foot. Staff was VERY nice, diagnosed staph, administered IV and prescribed antibiotics. Told us, "please let us know if the redness increases at all. Called back late in day after redness spread. Told on phone that they were concerned so we came back in. After waiting 2 hours to be seen, we were told abruptly, "I wouldnt be concerned unless swelling/redness spread to knee" (!) This morning, foot MUCH worse. Finally contacted our pediatrician. Was told prescribed dosage too low and not frequent enough - increased both. Also, now if no improvement by end of day we must go to Childrens in Boston for admission. Shame on you FH!

Our daughter was admitted to the Emergency Room at Falmouth Hospital for severe dehydration caused by a summer virus/cold. She received exceptional care from the entire staff, the rounding R.N.s and Dr. We just want you to know how thankful we are for R.N.s Doug and John and Dr. Mike OConnell who were especially wonderful in their care. They made our daughter feel at ease immediately, considering she needed I.V. fluids. She spent just two short hours in the E.R. and was even able to attend the family wedding that evening. We are also grateful for the follow-up call from Dr. OConnell the following day with final test results and checking in on how she was doing. Thank you again so much! Sincerely, The Skapik Family

I was recently admitted to the Falmouth Hospital emergency room with severe dehydration. It was bad. After being seen in emergency, they moved me to *Med. Surgical Section 4*. The staff in that section deserve the highest praise. The nurses were very kind and caring. I never, ever had a very good experience in a hospital before. I was cared for so well, I wouldnt mind going through it again. Dr. Nikolaos Sismanopoulos is very knowledgable and the most compassionate, informative Doctor I have experienced. They all have my respect, admiration, and appreciation.

Unprofessional staff... My wife got denied an appointment after an emergency situation at 3 weeks of pregnancy (hemorrhage). She then decided to be followed by a second hospital for the rest of her pregnancy. Later on we asked to switch back to falmouth hospital for the advantage of the proximity. Their answer: You didnt want to see us before we cant take you now. So childish and unprofessional. We were seriously wondering if we were talking to medical professionals or to a bunch of teenagers.

Worst hospital Ive ever witnessed. Barely did any diagnostic testing for my grandmother with sepsis. Forced her to be discharged even though she still felt sick and was asking to not be released. What happened to patient autonomy? Only took IV out right before discharging her. My grandma was home for less than 24 hours and then had to be rushed back to hospital. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 1 star is generous, they deserve 0.

So far the staff is very nice, sitting here waiting to be seen, one very bad situation is the newest Remodel of the E.R. you walk through the door, speak to someone that registers you in, meanwhile everyone sitting there can hear all your buisness. Its so quite no tv or soft music......not private at all...VERY POOR DESIGN!!!!

The Best ER that I have ever visited.....Thorough and spot on with the diagnosis....efficiently, timely and thorough....Nurses and entire staff on Lilly M 1 were incredible, caring, kind and extremely conscientious. My wife had a life threatening episode and walked out of the hospital after 4 days. Thank you!!!
