Very disappointed. I am a nurse and do not recommend this practice for several reasons. I originally was going to Hopkins and thought Id get a second opinion from a local doctor, however I think Ill keep my Hopkins doctor even though its a long drive and sometimes a 2.5 hour wait. This place doesnt use their online portal to provide patients with labs and imaging results, and doesnt even notify patients of abnormal labs by phone in a timely manner. I had to call 6 times and leave messages for the office manager to get my lab work results and to have it faxed to another drs office (they faxed to wrong place the first time.) There are a lot of other reasons specific to the opinion that Dr. Sami gave me, including different medication recommendations but I only started to doubt those once I saw how there office was run.

I just saw Dr. Benjamin Miller for my chronic fibromyalgia pain that has gotten so bad, its almost impossible keeping up with my usual life activities. He told me to go see a therapist because what I was describing was depression. This is NOT depression. I have depression and have been treated for it for years. I told him this and said he really isnt something he can help me with, hes not a therapist and my time was up, that the 20 minute appointment I set was up was a follow up appointment and not enough time to delve into the complex discussion. I told him I didnt schedule the damn appointment time, his staff did, but his response was just, sorry, youre out of time, see ya. I left in tears knowing I have no where to turn. Its was one of the worse doctor experiences I have ever had.

Saw Dr. Ameri and she said she was clueless on how to help me with my right forearm injury. So, she said get a NCS/EMG RUE Neurological exam. With a two months wait for the exam, I chose to see another doctor who proceeded to correct my problem with cortisone injections. He said given my injury the neurological test was worthless and also painful. There you have it.

Love Dr. Jacobs! He is always so concerned with your issues, takes his time and answers any questions you may have. I wouldnt go to another Rheumatologist when my insurance was no longer accepted. I switched insurance to keep Dr. Jacobs. The office staff is always so friendly, helpful and on top of everything.

Currently still waiting to see the doctor almost an hour now, first visit, had filled out all the new patient form before arriving. Not sure if this is the norm or not. No one has provided us with a time
