Have been a patient here for several years as well as my children. Since our family Dr chose to leave this practice recently, we have been given a different female Dr, an older lady with shorter dark / black hair, (Can provide name upon request.) Within the past few months I have seen this Dr maybe 3 times due to my medication requiring me to have regular visits. When I was there on January 15th, 2016, for a normally scheduled appt. I advised that I did have other health concerns that day I needed to discuss with her. i.e. Recent back injury causing severe pain and immobility. Also that I have had 3 potential seizures within the past 2 months where I had blacked out completely for several minutes. Also that I had been having severe anxiety and panic attacks having dramatic effects on my day to day life, including my ability to be a wife and a mother. At this point the Dr ordered to have an EKG done on me which I dont understand that being the only test or concern she may have on my health issues. After the EKG she came back in and told me that I was fine and she gave me ONE of my needed refills I had requested. When I asked her about the other medication (Lorazepam), she said she wasnt prescribing that to me anymore. I got some concern and reminded her that this was the ONLY medication that was currently working for my anxiety attacks and she said pretty much "Too Bad" with NO reasonable explanation whatsoever! I then proceeded to explain why my previous Dr. had kept me on this medication and then this newer Dr. stated that she doesnt care what that Dr. did. This is a major medication that Ive been taking for several years now and a controlled substance which everybody should know that you DO NOT just stop taking the medication. If this is going to be how your Practice operates then I believe I may have to take this concern to another level. Thank you.

Not a very good first impression. I heard stories from other people in the neighborhood, but I figured, how bad can it be? I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient and was greeted by an incredibly long voice message, which finally at the end says press zero to schedule an appointment. The music started playing as I was on hold and someone seemingly nice answered the phone as asked me to hold. I was on hold for so long; the system automatically put me into voicemail. This should have been a red flag, but I called back. The second time was a little faster since I knew to press zero to schedule an appointment. Someone answered and seemed very annoyed to have done so. The person was completely flabbergasted that I wasn’t coming from another doctor’s office and proceeded to ask me three times if that was the case. After giving my information I was told that ‘they’ would call me to schedule an appointment. I was a bit confused because I was calling them to schedule an appointment. Then it was brought to my attention that ‘they’ needed to fill out the new patient paperwork. I was expecting a call back any minute, because after all I was only asked for my name, phone number and birthday. This paperwork is obviously very complicated and time consuming, because this was 7 days ago. I will be going elsewhere.

Ive had enough of this place and their higher than you attitude. Ive been a patient at this practice for 4 years or so and today is the last time I or any of my family will go there. To begin with the attitude of who works there, some of the people are polite and nice but generally they treat you as though you are bothering them or they are doing you a favor by seeing you. my appointment today began with me standing in front of their sign in window for 5 minutes awaiting the lady at the desk to acknowledge me while she filled around in a desk with pens. Theyre so quick to take your money and make you pay your co-pay before your appointment and then the waiting game begins. Every-time Ive had an appointment that I can recall Ive waited at least 45 minutes to be seen. Today it was well over an hour before I decided that my time was too valuable and walked out. Why have appointments if you dont honor them?

I have been a patient here for a little less than ten years. The only reason I havent gone elsewhere yet is because I really like my doctors. However, I have yet to ever call without being put on hold for, at minimum, 15-20 minutes. God forbid I have to call on a Saturday, and deal with the miserable woman who regularly works weekends. I had to call back after being on hold for 45 minutes caused my call to be re-routed. When I told her how long Id been on hold, there was not so much as an "Im sorry about that", I got a lecture about how she was the only one there. I also have yet to ever be seen right at my appointment time. Its a shame, since I am very happy with my doctors, but Ill be looking elsewhere for a PCP.

I see the numerous complaints on the phone system (hold times, etc...) this to frustrated me as well. However this was do to the recent integration of the new system from Pinnacle taking over Annville Family Practice. Learning curves and changes always difficult. However my doctor and the staff that transferred along with Pinnacle are still the wonderful people they were before the merger. For those that had issues 3 to 5 months ago. I recommend revisiting and trying them again. The new building is beautiful. My last appointment was on opening day, it went perfectly. Good doctors are hard to find. Great ones are there. Thank you

My mother is a patient Here a very long time.it is a shame the elderly have to wait to have their prescriptions sent in or even written and signed for them. Just today we waited almost 2 hrs. To get 1 xray, and it was not the fault of the gsh office. The xray was requested Monday and the order was still not faxed to them by today at 9. They had to call 3 times for it till it was sent. This kind of issues have been going on for a long time, its not just since pinacle. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER there are people who really need and want to stay with your facility.

Since the merge with Pinnacle they are not the same service sucks. They are now are arrogant ignorant place to go to. Will not take any more state approved medical insurance claiming they have enough! Ha so money means more than helping people. I had been with Annville Family since the 70s but no more.

The doctors are very polite, but service SUCKED! Very slow service we had to wait 3 hours for a check up and the same people who were in the waiting room when we first went in were still sitting there on the way out! Overall polite people, very poor service!

This place is a joke. Every time my wife takes our 1 year old daughter they sit and wait in the waiting room for over 2 hours until they are seen. As other reviews mentioned they NEVER keep their appointment time and are not very friendly.
