Terrible experience at this office. Had a chemical peel done to correct light scarring I had on my forehead and it literally burned new holes into my head and now are indented scars. Dr told me it looked normal and scars would fade in about 8 months. No way this was normal. But now Im seeking laser treatment to correct these scars from the chemical peel and the cost is 350$ a treatment! Stay away from this office if your looking for chemical peels! It is now 6 months later and Im still going to get laser treatments on these areas. Im about 3000$ out of pocket so far for what Ive got done and still prolly need 2 more treatments. If you want things done the right way do not go to this office. Go see dr Rober Weiss at md laser skin and vein in hunt valley.

I have gotten excellent care for the past 3 years. I have also referred several friends and family who also have been very happy with their treatment and results. The staff is always pleasant and professional. She has a busy practice. Dermatologists are not primary care physicians. Not a lot of hand holding. It is routine in dermatology to see over 50 patients per day. Chemical peels have inherent risks which are delineated in the consent forms. There are many other options rather than peels that are better and safer. They are just more expensive because of it.

Dr. Lauring is amazing - she has changed my life!! She removed a mole from my face with no scar whatsoever, and has always given me the best advice about whether the latest cosmetic "advances" are worthwhile. She is trustworthy, timely, and incredibly smart. I recommended her to my cousin, who now drives from Potomac to see her, and to one of my good friends. They both love and trust her like I do. Her staff is also organized and friendly. If you have any skin concerns, go to her, you will not be disappointed.

I beg to differ with the prior reviewer. I have been a patient of Dr. Lauring for at least three years (as has my husband). We have NEVER experienced a time when both Dr. Lauring and her staff were not entirely professional, caring, friendly, and highly competent. In my opinion, Dr. Lauring is the BEST at what she does. She diagnosed and cured a skin problem that my prior dermatologist had told me there was no cure for, and that I would have to "just live with it."

I have been going here for years, and I absolutely love the staff! I see Mandy. She is very thorough, and always addresses all of my concerns. I never feel rushed as I do with other doctors offices. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone in need of a dermatologist, whether is be for medical or cosmetic treatment. I have also had laser treatments done to remove dark spots...very effective and reasonably priced:)

This is a horribly run office. The office staff and manager are rude, lazy, uncaring and unsympathetic. They routinely loose paper work. I have seen them be actively rude to other patients and I have never been treated well. Dr Lauring is always late often in excess of hours. When you finally do get to see her she doesnt listen to you and is distracted. Find any other dermatologist.

She was very insensitive. Prescribed medication that I was allergic to and advised me to stop taking necessary medications that affected my health in a negative way. Some staff not friendly. There was one assistant that was very kind and understanding. She really doesnt fit in with the practice. I wouldnt recommend this doctor to anyone.
