I had to stop n write a review about the great experience I had today .. I will admit I was a little nervous taking my dad to have his first surgery ever at this hospital after reading the reviews but today changed my perspective . I have never gone to the emergency room here or anywhere els except the same day surgical center . Also this one girl with glasses at the cafe was also super friendly n always had a smile on her face . I will honestly say this is one of the best customer service including doctors nurses and pas, anesthesiologist me and my dad have ever experienced It was not too busy today thankfully . My dad had a same day surgery on his shoulder with Dr Curl. All the staff in the same day surgery center on the second floor were so wonderful especially the nurses . They took such great care of my dad n answered every question I had . Im really happy we had such wonderful team assist us . Its good to know theres still good hospitals n ppl in the world that really love their job n that care about their patients . God bless them . N hope anyone who goes here gets the same great experience we had .

I have been having a impossible experience with Saint Agnes Hospital over the last 5 years has gotten worse. The clinic at Saint Agnes is full of foreigners angry physicians who seem emotionally unstable. I Have run out of options came here with a very bad hernia to get it checked and urination problems. To try and found out. i got waited on checked in and out fast in 4 hours. The Staff at Medstar Harbor Hospital is mostly AMERICANS and they are POLITE CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. Unlike saint Anges which highers mostly from all 3rd world countrys. MEDSTAR filled my diuretic which i am out of, I cant urinated without it. Got checked for urination problems. ( i am retaining fluid ) and got back and found the other Saint Agnes Hospital idiot filled my prescription to avoid litigation i guess? Not sure. Why would you tell someone you are not seeing them and than fill a prescription.

Dr. Priya J. Talwar delivered my second daughter after me having a c section with my previous daughter at a different hospital. She was extremely supportive along the way because she knew how passionate I was about having a VBAC with my second daughter and she wanted to give me that as long as it didnt put my Health nor the baby health in danger. My nurses I had were awesome Ive only had one bad experience with the ER nurse when she asked me for a pharmacy and I told her we just moved to the area so we dont have one yet and yet she asked me again and I said to her did you not hear what I just said because I could spell it out for you she apoligized because I felt like she didnt know she was about to get that type of response. But never let one sour apple spoil the whole bunch.

My girl-freind has been in the hosiptal several time for her pulsating heart. We have been to several anne arundel county hospitals. We have spent several hour in their ERs. They told her she was to yourng to have problem and never really tried to find the problem. Harbor Hospital took the time to be doctors and help her out. They ran several test to take care of the current problem to help the ease the problem and recommended her to a great doctor. Which in turn has sulved the problem. I high recommend this ER center. The professionalism is out standing. As for the other hospitals AAMC and BWMC, the doctor are only concerded about getting off their shift.

What frustrates me the most is when youre in so much pain they tell you theyre going to help you but really its out of their control they have to find a doctor to sign off the whole thing takes hours I wish they would just tell you its going to be half a day by the time we get ahold of somebody to get you pain medicine he will hopefully have passed out out of pain or falling asleep :( Im in the ICU recovering from a back fusion Im in enough i cant keep my leg straight after back fusion I give you my entire types of medicine and I cant get the medicines I normally take to go to sleep so now I cant go to sleep well and pain.

The ER waiting times are horrendous. I took my wife to the ER on a Monday evening around 7:00 pm and by 1:00 am she still hadnt been seen. We took her back the next morning at 9:00 am. This time the we waited on the children/family side of the waiting room and there was broken chunks of glass on the floor. We had our two boys with us. When my wife was finally seen, they simply dismissed her chest pains as Bronchitis. We took Hey back home and then called an ambulance that night because her situation became much worse. Fortunately the ambulance took her to another hospital.

I was in severe abdominal pain which made me unable to think straight (because, well, I was in so much pain). Doctor could not help me but gave me a stack of sheets he simply googled off the internet for my pain. Told me the pain was "all in my head" instead of doing proper diagnostic tests or recommending me to a healthcare professional who could actually help me. Nurses were extremely rude and accused me of faking my pain. Gave me one tylenol and charged me $2000 for the visit. I do not recommend going there for abdominal pain because you wont be taken seriously.

In an effort to get medical information on a patient from a primary care physician i called the 2173 number for two days without success. The response was "please continue to hold for the next available representative" which was followed by all reps are assisting others please continue to hold which i did the first day for 30 minutes and the next day for 40 minutes. The issue was resolved when i called the 855 number and received assistance from that line. After getting help i called back again just to see what would happen and it was the same situation.

I only gave a 1 star rating because Google wont let you give a 0 star rating. Arrived at 6:41pm with my pregnant girlfriend after she had abdominal cramps and passed out. Its now 11:25 pm and they havent seen us yet. But with their amazing fast track plan they were able to take care of a guy with a small cut and a black eye. Think he got 2 stitches. Yay him. Mean while my PREGNANT girlfriend with internal pains and i are still sitting in the waiting room watching family fued. This place should be a morgue, not a hospital. Tbis place is a damn joke.

I had a very bad experience at this hospital not once but twice. I took my child to their emergency room they assumed he had a virus and the test came back negative and they still prescribed a medicine for a virus that they know he didnt have but told me to give it to him anyway. My child could have gotten sick. I had to go across town just to find out his real diagnosis. I will add the RN was also rude. Never had such a horrible experience in a hospitaI will not ever come to this place again.
