This place is probably the worst office Ive ever seen, its really dirty inside and there where spots of blood on the floor. the waiting room is not that big and it gets crowded fast and it doesnt help that my dog is a big St. Bernard. i really felt unsafe because all the dogs where in close proximity to each other. i know my dogs good but i cant really know about others. As for the staff the receptionist was very polite and the gentleman who called me back was very knowledgeable about his job. So with the staff being so polite and knowledgeable youd think the doctor would be too, however i made a bad call on that. The Doctor was very rough with with my dog and his bedside manner was atrocious if present at all. At the end of the ordeal in the exam room they give me a hefty bill at the end of things i didnt ask for and need. It was a struggle to decline the flea treatment and heartworm pills i didnt ask for because i already have them and the doctor makes it seem like Im the bad guy for not wanting to get something i already have. In short id never go back there, id never recommend anyone going there, and in all truth it is probably the worst place on the face of the earth. I hope the employees find a better place to go because their abilities are wasted at brentwood animal hospital.

so far, so good. read mixed reviews, but my experience has been pleasant. the staff and vets seem very courteous and keen on customer service. Its not in the city, just 1/2 mile beyond the DC line, but it has an in-city feel in terms of appearance and size. Which is fine for me b/c I live in the city, so I am use to it. If you live in the deep open suburbs then you may be taken a back by the "house converted into a business" cozy fit. Although most do not realize that the building next to it is also part of the hospital. Prices are tad high, but again cheaper than what is offered in the city (cheaper than a more rural located competitor - but what you save on price you waste in gas and time). My advice ( and Ive dealt w/ vets in North Carolina, Florida, deep country Upper Marlboro MD, and Capitol Hill DC), if you live in the city (NE DC) or just 2 miles outside the city, this place is for you. If you live and are use to out in the country, my roads dont get plowed when it snow suburbs, you will be turned off by the appearance, and thus will not have an open mind to enjoy the quality service.

DONT DO IT! A few years ago, I went on vacation and I left my rabbit in my brothers care. Somehow, the AC went off for a few hours and my rabbit overheated. My brother ran literally up the street to the Brentwood Animal Hospital where he was told they would not care for him unless he gave them a $70 payment up front for the rabbit to be seen. So when my brother ran to the closest ATM to take the cash out of his account, my rabbit died in his arms. Even though I was aware of my rabbits condition, I still believe he couldve been saved. I mean when you think about it, isnt that what they are in business for, to save animals lives? I DO NOT recommend this "animal hospital" to anyone. This is just MY personal experience with these people...

I took my beloved dog "Kassy" to Brentwood animal Hospital beacuse she was vomiting for 2 days. The doctors and the staff at the hospital were very courteous and professional. They gave me different options for her tratment and the estimate for those services. I was very impressed that she was again well, happy and playful within 2 days. Most surprisingly, unlike my previous vet, the doctor called me daily on her progress. My baby is fine and again joy of our life. This hospital is clean, doctors very proffessinal and the staff very friendy. I strongly recommend Brentwood Animal hospiatal to anyone who is looking for a good hospital for their pets need.

We took our cat there for treatment. Felt rushed on the first visit. On the second visit [follow up] He lost the X-ray and didnt even have it marked that he had taken it. Told us the wrong dosage to give the cat to start with. His comment was "No you need to give a cat who weighs this much twice that amount." Based upon this statement we decided not to return to this vet or recommend him to anyone, since he had weighed the cat in question and should have know how much to give him in the first place & the fact that he had not written everything he had done or given us for the cat.

My dog Jasmine was vomiting and not feeling well I needed help immediately and it was late in the evening and most hospitals were either closed or not willing to take me in. But luckily Brentwood Animal Hospital was still opened and they told me to come in. The staff and the doctors were very polite and concerned about my baby. They were very professional and took care of Jasmine like their own pet. I was very impressed with their services and the charges were reasonable. I strongly recommend Brentwood Animal Hospital for your pets need.

my cat had surgery there and is now on his second infection. they gave the wrong dosage of antibiotics and the stitches were loose. also, after explaining he was having trouble swallowing his medicine/food/water, they told me "well he needs to take his meds". thanks for the help guys. i am now seeing another vet to fix this. THEY ARE NOT UPFRONT WITH CHARGES. i paid for the surgery and everything and when i went to get him, they added on $80 worth of things that they did not tell me about!!

The outside looks like a dump, the insides wishes it looked as good as outside. There is a lot of garbage outside and its not particularly clean inside, there is a bit of a smell but Ill let it slide cause its kinda expected with a place that has animals. Anyway i wont bore you with a story but in my opinion its dirty, expensive, service isnt the best, the vet needs better bedside manor and i know i said it but its pretty expensive. Im most likely not going back

Dr. Manzoor gets a BOO because he is not up front about what he charges for. He offered to show us how to clean our dogs ear, and charged us unknowingly. Also, he claimed that we couldnt obtain the medication from outside resources when we could.

Needed last minute shots for my cat in order to move into an apartment. Eileen at front desk was understanding and told me to come in in an hour. Very nice nurse and Doctor. Very pleased with this clinic.

Started out okay … slowly slipped down to not okay. In a pinch, go there, otherwise, check your options.
