I took my 7 month old kitten to basin run vet to be neutered. She was an inside cat. This cat has NEVER been outside since I got her at 6 weeks old. Anyway, I took her in to her appt to get fixed and when i went back to pick her up, they told me they had to charge me an additional $175 because she was pregnant. Naturally I asked them to show me proof since I knew for a fact that she wasnt pregnant. The staff informed me that the doctors dont find out if the cat is pregnant or not until they do the procedure. What a rip off.... how can they get away with these kinds of scams..... is there any way to stop them?

We have been going here for about one year. The practice is growing and seems to be doing well. However, be sure before you are seen by the vet that exam charges are explained. They charge different rates based on the purpose such as illness, routine wellness, even a quick dental exam will cost extra! So, there seems to be a charge for everything! Also, choose wisely your regular vet since they have more than one....our cat unfortunately could have taken a different type of medication which would have improved his health sooner...we we a bit disappointed as you can imagine!

We drive over two hours to visit this practice because it is absolutely the best vet practice we have ever encountered. As pet owners for the past 35 years, we have never found a practice as good as Basin Run Animal Hospital. Dr. Kilby is always up to date in her field, she is an excellent diagnostician and a compassionate practitioner. The staff is welcoming, the office is immaculate and beautiful and in a gorgeous setting. We couldnt recommend Basin Run Animal Hospital any more highly. Simply put, it is the tops!

The doctors at Basin Run and the rest of the staff are all awesome. They care about our animals and they care about my wife and I as well. Dr. Kilby explains everything to you in simple terms and gives great suggestions for treatments. She makes sure you know all the options available, and she uses her expertise to inform you of the best route to take. Overall a great experience and wouldnt take my animals anywhere else.

Weve been using basin run animal hospital for almost 20 years now. The staff are all great. About a month ago we had to have our baby(15 years old) put down bc of kidney failure. The staff was very caring( sent us flowers and a sympathy card) that meant a lot to us! Ive never had a bad experience there.

Both of my puppies tend to be scared when they go to the vets, but the staff at Basin Run Animal Hospital are so good with both of them. They are quickly overcoming their fear because of all the love and kindness they can sense. I wont take them anywhere else. Thank you so much!
