This vet was referred to me by someone who used to go there. Their prices are great, and now I know NEVER cheap out when it comes to something you really care about. All I can say is it was one of the worst decisions I ever made. My dog was mistreated by one handler in particular, and rather than apologize the owner decided to stand by her staff and deny anything, even after one of them admitted they lied. When I picked up my dog he was covered in urine and when I asked why, the one handler denied everything, and was very rude, there was one very nice lady there who tried to help me and apologized over and over. I have no idea what happened to my dog when he was there, he was definitely mistreated. He went in happy came out growling and aggressive towards the one particular lady who was very rude to me and also made it known she did not like my dog, she actually came out and said it to my face! She said he was mean and I should probably take him somewhere else. Bottom line, he had a surgery that was performed wrong and needed to be corrected by a more reputable vet. In an admittance of guilt the vet paid for the fix, which was nice I guess, but then she asked that I never come back again, in a letter...did she really think I would? Bottom line, if you truly love your pet, bypass this place! I WISH someone would have warned me, instead now I have to deal with the results.

Wonderful Service! Been with this vet long before she opened up her own practice, River Hills. Always receive friendly, prompt service. The most recent trip there, my 13 year old dog was unable to stand or walk. I went in, realizing that I was going to have to put her down. HOWEVER, the vet staff encouraged me to try an inexpensive steroid for a week first. They suspected degenerative disk disease (being an older dog, I decided against testing). I took their advice and and am happy to say that it is now 2 months later, and my dog is back to her normal self! I still cant believe I almost gave up on her when I see her run or jump with excitement over a treat. I still know her time is limited, but am so grateful that her quality of life increased, and I have been given more time with her. Thank you, River Hills!!! :)

I cant praise Brenda and her team enough. I was referred to River Hills after a terrible experience at another clinic. It was tough to get in as they rarely accept new patients and are booked weeks out. I am so thankful they took me as a client. My cats and dogs have never received such compassionate, careful, and professional care.
