My cat was diagnosed with ringworm. They immediately put him on Itraconazole KNOWING he had kidney disease. Not only did they prescribe a medicine to my cat that clearly states not to be taken if liver or kidney problems exist, they gave him DOUBLE the dose of a full sized cat. Had I kept going, this would have KILLED my baby! I even called them to DOUBLE CHECK the prescription was indeed how I was reading it and re-iterated what was already on his chart about the precautions. I was told - give it to him as prescribed but stop if he vomits more than he has been. Good thing I trusted my gut on this one and have since taken him to Basin Run in Colora where they checked him out but said to cease the medicine completely and immediately - just to quarantine him until they could get results back and him scheduled. They ultimately gave him a lime sulfur dip (hes in for a second and final one right now). He IMMEDIATELY looked better after just the first bath. Do not trust these folks. I work on computers for a living but everything about how they treated my baby just seemed so wrong. Im glad I verbally asked one vet, and physically saw another to confirm my gut feeling. Also, the waiting room is awkward at Swan Creek.

I have to be totally honest. I had 3 cats examine here with loss of appetite just not feeling good. Was told they all had lukemia & just had to be put to sleep. Stupid me came to find out that cats can live to be at least 19 with lukemia..I had 1 more cat with the exact same symptoms took her to All Paws. They gave her meds for the vomiting meds to increase her appetite & kitty is now perfectly healthy. The worst part is that when Swan Creek does euthanize an animal they dont give the animal any anestheia first. The meds that kill you pets shut down all of the organs first but the brain is still functioning. So you pet is really freaking out & suffering no animal should go through that. Then to top it all off. They will not even cut your dogs toe nails if you dont take your pet there for treatment. Aberdeen vet will. All Paws are by far the better veterinary clinic. There are things they dont have the equipment to do but if you want a vet that cares about you animal All Paws is the place to go.They are caring compassionate & cost less on top of all that. I will never go back to Sean Creek. Im not saying anything bad about Dr Hopkins. He was always a wonderful Dr

Ive been bringing my pets to Swan Creek since they opened this location. I, as most people Im sure had their favorite I requested every visit, Dr. Hopkins. When he retired I was very upset but my cats Lacey Mae, Fat Louie, Layla Belle, and now our dog Stella see Dr. Bodycott and we LOVE her!! Just like Dr. Hopkins she is very soft spoken, patient, and thorough. I love when you visit your vet and you dont have to explain or remind them every time the issues or concerns you may have. Dr. Hopkins would talk to my grandmother and I about her vegetable gardens & even ask how she was doing as she aged, even after she passed he would talk to me about her. He is the most compassionate person, and always made it a pleasurable experience no matter the circumstances of your visit. Everyone at Swan Creek are so helpful, and nice. If you are looking for a vet that treats you and your pets like family, I very highly recommend Swan Creek for all your pet care needs.

Staff issues: An appointment at 2:15 in the afternoon for a sick animal equals taking off of work. Sitting in the lobby for on hour after your appointment is unacceptable. There was no explanation given. People 4 deep to check out. Animals and people standing room only. I am well aware that emergencies happen and unexpected issues arise. However, your staff could advise those that are waiting that they are occurring instead of just leaving you sitting. Vet issues: As a grown adult with over 26 years of pet ownership of numerous kinds of animals as well as human medical training under my belt I do not need to be spoken to about my pet as if I am an idiot. The condescending voice and tone inflection used by Dr. Bodycott is unacceptable. If I am unable to find another vet to transfer to then I will make sure that she does not see my pets again.

HEARTLESS, inhuman staff and doctors, worried about the bottom dollar instead of emotions and compassion. We took our family cat of 16 yrs there and had an appointment to be euthanized... we arrived early and were made to wait in the open waiting room, they called multiple people before us, even ones that were there after us. Our cat passed away while we were waiting to see the Doctor, and then when it was time we were called back, and they made us pay prior to the procedure and despite the fact the our cat passed away in the waiting, they still went ahead with the injections. I wouldnt recommend this vet to anyone even to someone that has pet ants... i would recommend Edgewood Vet Clinic or Creswell... better staff.

I will never go to this clinic again. My pet was in a tremendous amount of pain and had to be put down because a veterinarian here did not feel the need to look at him thoroughly or do any type of work to figure out what was wrong during an earlier visit. They had just assumed it was one problem and completely misdiagnosed him. Had they done their job my pet would more than likely still be here. Needless to say if you care about your pet do not take them here.

HORRIBLE - THEY WERE SCHEDULING MY KITTY FOR SURGERY TO REMOVE TEETH THAT WERE LOOSE OR ABCESSED? I took her to 2 other local vets who evaluated her and found NO ABCESS OR ANY TOOTH PROBLEMS.......... They wanted to charge me 741.00 to do the surgery and would not schedule her vaccination until after it was completed....... Total rip off!!! Cruel and inhumane..... I will never ever go back

Hello, We think Dr. Hopkins is a terrific veterinarian. We have a 13 year old Keeshond that was very sick. Dr. Hopkins did testing to find she is diabetic. She is on insulin and is doing great. I was impressed with his knowledge and talking to us. He took the time to discuss what was wrong and the treatment plan. Pepper was treated with much care and concern. Thank you, Dr. Hopkins.

I have been taking my cats and my bassett hound there for 7 years. they are the best. I have never had any kind of issue with this place. I give them a 100% the kindness, love and attention they show me and my fur babys is beyond the best!

I love Swan Creek Vet.They have been nothing but great to my lab that has had some health issues. The staff is wonderful and always very pleasant and helpful..I would recommend them to take care of your pet.
