Before reading, please be aware this reveiw does not comment on the actual services provided here, but rather the desk staff. When I called to ask for an appointment as a new patient, the receptionist told me they didnt have openings until April/May. I dont need an exam until then, but I do need birth control pills. I then ask if it would be possible for a doctor to refill my RX without seeing me. The receptionist immediately stated that it was illegal, the Dr. Could lose their license, and theres no way to do it (a no would have sufficed) I then ask if its even possible if I provide official proof/documentation that Ive been taking the same meds for 5 years. Her tone became increasingly aggressive and irritated. It wasnt exactly the kind of interaction you expect from a prefessional receptionist. I understand the job can be irritating when people ask questions that, to yourself, you feel is stupid. But thats part of the job. Had she been cooperative and not combative, I may have made an appt for April and gotten a temp RX from planned parenthood.

I ended up not making an appointment. I felt the person who picked up was not able to walk me through the process. They wanted to schedule for 3 months out and couldnt really guide me through the process of switching to a new doctor, I think they wanted to hang up because it was late and they were leaving soon. That is the impression I got.
