I dont typically write reviews, but this is a rare occasion where one is worth it. I have worn glasses for 30 years, and I typically get a new pair every 2-3 years. My "normal" experience (everywhere else) is to get the exam, have glasses built, theyll be wrong in some way, and go through the process 3 or 4 times before I give up and just live with what I get. I have never had glasses that were perfect in my life. About 3 months ago my glasses were broken in a car accident, so it was time to go through the old familiar routine. I decided to give Dr. Tarantino a try, and now Ill never go anywhere else. I told him my past experiences, and he took extra care of me. He did my refraction test (which is better, 1 or 2), then asked me to come back first thing the next morning to have the test repeated free of charge. The next day my right eye tested the exact same, and there was a very tiny tweak in my left eye, so we went ahead and sent my Rx to the lab. That brings me to their glasses store. The selection is smaller than youd find at a national chain store, but the quality is far better. This is one of the few places where youll find all the high end brands like Silhouette on-hand and available to try on. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and were more than happy to provide me with all the necessary paperwork for my car insurance claim. I picked out my frames and lens options, and hoped for the best. Fast forward 5 days later, and my new Silhouette TMA Icon rimless hingeless glasses with Crizal and Transitions lenses were ready for pickup. And for the first time in my life, they were perfect. I have never seen this well, ever. Youre going to pay a little more at the Tarantino Cho Eye Center than you will at a chain store, but the quality of service and product you get in return is exponentially better. I am a customer for life, and if I move out of the area, Ill travel to come back here when it is time for an exam or replacement.

I love Dr. Tarantino and his office staff! I have been dealing with eye doctors since I was in 2nd grade, and I have found my visits to Dr. Tarantino to be the easiest and most pleasant of any I have experienced. The doctor spends the time to listen carefully and to explain procedures and diagnoses very well. I do not feel rushed. His staff is extremely cordial and helpful as well. Wait times are reasonable, and the office is bright, clean, and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Tarantinos practice to all my family and friends. My husband recently decided to have a long-needed eye exam after hearing my feedback about my visits and he now feels the same way.

I really loved the service they provided. The doctor, assistant, and receptionists were really kind and very pleasant. The reason why I give them 2 stars though is that their billing people filed the claim to the insurance company as medical when its actually routine check up and then I got a bill for $40. After I made multiple phone calls between the eye center and the insurance company, it looks like it will be resolved soon. A part of me thinks this can be a pure mistake, but the other part of me is not quite convinced. So be careful when you go here for routine exam and make sure you dont pay extra money out of your pocket when you dont have to.
