On January 09, 2015 at 11:am I was scheduled to see Dermatologist Dr. Saif U. Syed. I made the appointment back in December 2014 to see Dermatologist Syed at 1447 York Road suite 301 Lutherville. I arrived at 10:30 am and would be coming in as a new patient. When I arrived I stated my name and my appointment time. I filled out the necessary information onto a I pad and paid my co-pay. There was a older lady and a young lady seated when arrived at suite 301. A older man arrived at the counter as I was completing my information into the I pad. I handed the I pad back to the young lady behind the counter and she said to me you are all set you can have a seat and someone should be calling you. I sat down in front of the counter where the young lady could see me. A young man and a older lady arrived next. The older lady and the young woman who was seated when I arrived where escorted in the back to be seen. Moments later the older man who arrived at the counter while I was completing my information onto the I pad was escorted in the back next. Not very long after that the younger man and the older lady was escorted in the back to be seen. As I sit there I was wondering why was I not called to be seen. I had been sitting 45 minutes already. I took time off from work to make this appointment. I was hoping to go back to work after this doctors appointment and I did. I sat a little longer hoping that I would be called next and it never happen. I got up and said to the young lady that was behind the counter. I was here before most of the people that arrived after me. Is Dr. Syed in to see me I ask the young lady. That is when she got up to go to the back to check and see why my name was not called to be seen. When she return she said that someone should be calling me soon. I said to her if I didnt say anything to you about why most of the people were escorted in the back that arrived after me would you have said anything. Five minutes later I was escorted in the back to room # 4. The information that I gave the young lady in room # 4 was exactly the same information that I gave the young lady at the counter when I arrived. The young lady that was in room # 4 didnt know what I was there for. I was told by the young lady in room # 4 that I will be seeing a female. I was not told when I arrived that I would be seen by someone else. I made the appointment with Dr. Saif U Syed. After about 10 to 15 minutes with the young lady in room # 4. She said before closing the door behind her that the female doctor will be in to see me. I said to her that I schedule an appointment with Dr. Syed. The young lady said that they are all affiliated together. I really was disappointed at that point to be switched and not told. I waited in the room until I had to go to the bathroom. Afterwards I went back to the room and still no doctor. I went to the front counter and said to the young lady why did you not tell me when I arrive that I was switch to be seen by another doctor. The young lady behind the counter said that a female doctor will be seeing you. I ask her where was she. That is when the young lady behind the counter said that she is stuck in surgery. I said when was you going to tell me that. Im sitting in a room waiting on a doctor that I didnt schedule an appointment with, was somebody coming into the room to tell me. I ask for my co-pay back and a letter stating that I was there today and for them to mail me back my referral. I never got to see no dermatologist. I took time from work. I never want to go back to 1447 York Road suite 301 Lutherville again.

The front desk is not only rude, they have no idea what they are doing. I got 4 phone calls to confirm an appointment. None of the calls actually even had the right time for the appointment. Then I received a fifth call asking me if I had an appointment. Dr. Sessa also reviewed a procedure with me prior to the procedure and then performed something else that I did not approve in the procedure. This is a very poorly run and managed practice and its scary. If this is whats going on thats visible, whats going on behind the scene?

Love this practice. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed 2 years ago through MOHS surgery by Dr. Saif Syed and immediate closure with in-house Plastic Surgeon Dr. Bagal. Really happy with the process, healing and results. I can hardly tell where it was! Have followed up ever since with Dr. Samantha Vincent, who is terrific for all general dermatology checkups and is wonderful for discreet Botox and fillers. Makes me look totally natural and refreshed! Highly recommend!!!

The receptionist called me today regarding the appointment I have with Dr. Vincent, just to remind me about the appt. When I told her I have to change my appt to another date, she asked me if the next week is better. I said yes and as soon as I said that, somehow she just hung up on the phone and never called me back, which means she did it on purpose. I am not going back to this dermatology office again.

The nurse accidentally stuck the BP cuff velcro to my shirt, causing multiple pullies and ruining it. When I said something to her, she ignored me and did not even apologize.
