Avoid the female doctor there. Shes uncaring and unprofessional. Her name is Cyndi Torosky. I researched online about dermatologists and was warned about leaving the visit with a big bill. My whole visit with the doctor took about 5 minutes. The doctor saw a spot on my back and immediately wanted to do a surgery on it. I asked if there was a cost to it. She asked what my copay was. I told her and she said probably not. I said I didnt want the surgery. She said I should make an appointment for 6 months from then to take another look at it. I did not want to pay any money other than the cost of the copay for my visit. After that, I told her of a bump on my skin that I was concerned about. She looked at it and immediately grabbed a can of cold spray and sprayed it on the bump. I wasnt told that there would be a charge for that. I didnt think that was a big deal. It literally took about 5 to 10 seconds to spray the area. A week later I receive a bill in the mail. Apparently, I received a surgery while there called Cryosurgery. I never heard of that term before. I also received a bill for that for $250.00. I called them to find out why I received this bill. They talked to the doctor and she said that I consented to it. That isnt true. I never consented to a surgery and didnt know that one took place in the 5 to 10 seconds it took to spray the area. I wasnt told it was a surgery and that I would be billed $250.00 for it. It seemed like she saw an opportunity to make money and did it knowing that I wasnt aware that I would be billed for it. Now, its her word against mine. She says I consented to the surgery. I know I didnt and didnt even know it was one. I was cautious going into the appointment not wanting to spend any money not necessary. I have two kids and one on the way and dont have money to throw away. Shes not an honest woman and could care less about me. Her pocketbook is what matters to her.

The doctor clearly wanted to get through the appointment quickly, which immediately made me uncomfortable. The doctor assessed me within seconds, just glancing at my arms and hands. Where I was supposed to apply each medication was jotted down quickly and then I was given information on how to order the generic form of these medications. After I ordered and received the medications, the one that I was told to apply to my eyes says in bold print AVOID CONTACT WITH EYES. The doctor clearly needed to slow down. Another thing that I really didnt like was that when I expressed concern with using the medicated shampoo he was prescribing (I used a medicated shampoo for the same condition in the past and it was not compatible with my incredibly curly hair) he had no comment and just continued with how to use it. He could have at least given a false sense of caring. The price of the visit was not expensive because the diagnosis was quick, but I would have rather spent more money if there could have been time to talk about solutions I was more comfortable with, and if it meant him prescribing the right eye medication. If you want to speak to a patient doctor, go elsewhere.

Melanoma. If you think you have a weird mole, have it removed by a plastic surgeon you trust that specializes in skin cancer. Because a dermatologist will remove it by shaving and that will not give you an accurate depth measurement. Also, not enough to get a castle test. Appointment was crap - Dr. said," I have been doing this for 20 years it doesnt look like anything." Came back melanoma. btw the mole was orange and grew fast. After everything, I learned a lot I am .48mm breslow depth meaning it may have traveled to my lymph nodes but since the surgeon they recommended was also an idiot he did not do a dye test to see where it would have drained to. So, I am now faced with going back into the incision doing a dye test that may or may not work and a 50% chance to 5 years of living. I am 32 I have 2 boys. These people do not care.

I booked an appointment months in advance, and 2 days before the appointment their office receptionist called to cancel and reschedule. I said, " No problem, when is your next available? I can make any time." Their response was 2 months from now. That is absurd. So I canceled my husbands scheduled appointment and took our business to Coastal Dermatology where Dr. Kimberly Soderbergs staff was able to accommodate us in a consecutive time slot with in a reasonable time. I would like to add I have been going here for years and I always felt this was a cold uncaring environment. It always appeared everybody, including the doctors were just punching a ticket.

Ive gone to them multiple times for acne once in early 2017 when I could tell my skin was going to have a major break out, the appointment was quick but the doctor seemed annoyed I was asking basic questions. The later mid 2017 I went through telederm because the acne is worse and my medication wasnt working and they just threw a prescription my way without answering any questions in the comment box they added. Dont waste your time or money on doctors that dont care.

Check in was a breeze, maybe because I had a referral from my OBGYN ? Dr. B was awesome. He listened to my concerns and assessed my need. My procedure went smoothly and was explained to me in detail beforehand. The Derm Tech was awesome as well, and seemed genuinly concerned about my well being and comfort.

I had a great experience. Had a few pre-cancerous spots removed with no pain or scaring. The got me in and out on schedule - The staff was friendly, and I highly recommend them. Will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

Very good for me. I saw Mrs Mallory. She listened to my emotional problems as much as physical problems. So far shes been very attentive and I recommend her. Just ask and she will try to help you.

Tried to get my son seen because he has a gaping hole from a wart removal but they refuse to see him because I want to pay out of pocket instead of using my insurance. Go figure.
