I visited Dr Snyder and was twentyminutes early for my appointment. It was my first visit and there was no one at the reception desk. I had printed out medical forms to fill out to expedite my waiting time. Dr Snyder was at the desk and did not even acknowledge I was standing there waiting to be checked in. He was too bust fawning over one of his I assume wealthy patients. Giving her han cream samples to try and then asking what she thought of them. Give me a break. For all he knew I could have wanted thousands of dollars of procedures done also. Finally, a half hour after my appointment time someone came to the desk and told me I had to fill out different med forms. Asked where I got mine. Told them on THEIR website. Waited another half hour and then Dr andd ms. Fancy pants came out from the back laughing. I guess she must be one of his few gravy trains as I can assure you he will never get another dollar from me. I was taken into the exam room and told to put on a gown since this was my first appt the doc would ant to check me all over for suspicious growths. I did think that was a good idea. When the doc entered the room he didnt introduce himself. The reason for my appointment was that I wanted a cyst on my face removed. He told me I would have to see a plastic surgeon. I thought by the sounds of his website that he did those things. Strike one. Gave me the name of a plastic surgeon. I also had a itchy patch on the back of my head. Gave me some samples. Didnt explain how many times to apply. Asked him about a bite on my arm surrounded by a bruise, Asked if it could be Lyme disesease. He told me to keep an eye on it. He did take a biopsy of a bump on my leg after I pointed it out. He never did look over th rest of my body for other suspicious growths. When I brought up that I was intrigued by Coolsculpting I finally got his attention. He actually became interested in a conversation and started squeezing my abdomen to see what kind of a candidate I would be. He threw pices out and of course offered a discount if I had the whole thingndone at once. I told him I still had a couple of chemo sessions to pay for and then his interest in me turned off again. Never said thank you or goodbye. $173.48.later I still have my cyst.

He did find and remove 1 spot in addition to the one I went in for that were biopsied and determined to be pre-cancerous melamona and for that he gets 2 stars, but I waited an hour per appt for all 3 of my appt. I could expand, but Ill just say there was 0 good reasons - they said they had a staff turnover, but the old staff was there for the first appt where I still waited an hour. They also make you pay when you leave instead processing it through insurance, which meant they overcharged me for 2 of the 3 appts since I have CDH instead of a set co-pay and they dont contact the insurance company beforehand to get estimates so its a lot of guessing - rounded up in their favor, of course. (This is the only dr Ive been to that demands it up front with my type of insurance). You have to call them back to get the refund and as of now its not as simple as it should be (i.e. you would assume they could pull up my account to see how much I over paid between appts, but now Im waiting for a call because they need to see if they received the insurance check for something my insurance company processed over a month ago based on my paperwork). I appreciate him removing the moles, however, I think Im sure I can find equally diligent drs that wont make me leave work early to wait an hour when Im the only person in the waiting room and the dr is standing at the front desk (for 2 or the 3 appts at least).**UPDATE - I was suppose to hear back a week after I called and originally posted this review about being reimbursed for my over payment. 3 weeks has now passed with no word from the office. Just left a message. Lowered review to 1 star since this should be easy. Update - 2 months later. Called a couple more times since and recieved NO RESPONSE. This time I spoke to the girl on the phone told me she doesnt see where I paid more than the allowed about amount from the insurance company and is apparently unaware of how insurance works or how to add the numbers from my 3 appts and what the insurance company says I can pay. Waiting for office manager to call me back again because shes "too busy" right now. Nothing like the feeling that the dr is now stealing from you. CAN I RATE NEGATIVE STARS PLEASE????

I recommend using caution with this doctor. I went to the office for an allergic reaction to a medication. Did he provide me with what I needed to correct my medical condition? Yes. And for that I do believe he is a knowledgeable doctor. BUT I arrived on time for my appointment (15 mins early to do new patient paperwork) and waited 50 minutes before I was taken back. Then I waited another 15 minutes after I was taken back there before the doctor came. And no one in the office even apologized for the excessive wait. The doctor "prescribed" five different things including a lotion and a cleanser that I later found out he sells in his office- Im guessing for an additional profit. Not only were the lotion and cleanser expensive, but I do not believe they were at all medically necessary. And on top of that, I continued using the lotion on my sensitive skin thinking it must be safe since it came from the dermatologist, right? Well I developed a severe skin irritation that kept worsening as I continued using this lotion that I assumed was safe. Finally it occurred to me that the lotion itself might be causing the skin irritation. I checked the ingredients on the bottle and three of them are "dirty ingredients" including a formaldehyde releaser. I stopped using the lotion and my skin started clearing up. I took the lotion and cleanser back to the office and they did refund my money at my request. If you do go here, I recommend thinking about what he recommends and trusting your own judgement to determine which of his recommendations you really need. Also, be prepared to wait.

Dr. Snyder is a doctor who wants his ego to be stroked.. he is more concerned with designing the office and making it more appealing to the public eye then actually helping you with Acne!!! I had a 2:00 appointment and arrived 15 min early didnt get in the back until 3:20 and still set for another 45 minutes. When he comes in the room he comes with a nurse she sits in the corner and writes on paper while he uses his technology gadget to show you what white heads, black heads and acne looks like on the skin. Snyder told me I didnt have black heads, in fact he said some where moles and the other was (he didnt tell me) he gave me a Glyderm, Surface Improvement, Aczone, and Fabior, all of which equaled $186, this stuff burned my face to the extreme and when I called to tell them that it wasnt working, and that I wanted a refund they did not care.. If you want to spend a ton of money and you want your face burned off then by all means go to them. I wish I was brave enough to post the pictures so people could see exactly how bad those products burned my skin. I would not return to that doctors office even if Donald Trump himself paid me to.
